Probably the general libertarian and American ideal that government power needs to be reigned and limited whenever possible, because they'll always end up using it in nonideal ways

That argument could be applied to the wide availability of guns, too.

The ATF is not fit for purpose, at least on the F part. The NRA has seen to that. Christ, they're not even allowed to use fucking computers.

That was literally my thoughts as I was reading before I noticed this bit. Might just be poorly considered grandstanding, but it seems like something iffy is going on behind the scenes.

This, also I find the solution of the European Commission a lot better than letting thousands drown on the Mediterranean Sea every year, which is literally the situation we have now and will continue too have if we allow refugees to enter by boat.

Obviously the laws that are enacted in Europe are going to stop the refugees trying to do that.

Unnecessary censorship

A Fallout themed grand strategy game where you get to take control over one of the franchise's factions and lead it to victory over the others. For example, take one sect of the Brotherhood of Steel and unite all of America under your technocratic rule. It could have historical (according to fallout lore) starts, or random starts. Multiple Brotherhoods (Original Brotherhood before the schisms+West coast, Midwest, East Coast), Enclave and Enclave remnants, Independent Vegas/ House Vegas. NCR, Caesar's Legion, Master's Army, etc. personally, I wouldn't want the Minutemen, Institute or Railroad in the game, because they're all very localized, unlike the other more empirical factions. I'd really love a good total conversion mod for any other game if I found one.

Ooh, also inlcude starts for every different New Vegas ending. That'd be interesting.

I think the Institute would work on the scale you want, given their motivations, so maybe the Raikroad would work too.

Anyhow, this sounds awesome. I'll be looking for CKII more with this heh.

Would you all be applauding him if the camp was for adults? I don't think it matters whether or not they were children, teenagers, young adults or whatever.
