I’m not sure how boring rationality is worse than what we have now, when people believe Covid was spread by 5G and vaccines to control its spread were means of implanting microchips so everyone can be tracked even though most people carry a GPS that listens to their conversations everywhere with them all the time.

You could probably find a button camera for cheap on the web. One issue might be local laws, some places are okay with one side recording things, other places you need explicit permission.

Also not sure if it would fall under whistleblowing, some places are good about protecting whistleblowers, other places not so much.

Starting today, we've got both Guacamelee games. Lucha libre-themed platformer, from what I understand. I've heard good things.

I’ve only played the first one but it’s really good. Good metroidvania gameplay in a likeable package. I got it for free and it is well worth it.

You should go out into your garden with a mirror for a while; maybe you have a Medusa infestation.

Feeling the need to rock your head back and forth is the first sign.

I think a desire for moshing is in there too.

In the various interpretations and translations in the thousands of years since these books were written, do you think all the translators and teachers held to that?

Edit: also a bit of an oddity you can’t take the word of god literally.

Seems unlikely. Even sketch shows I really like have misses in them.

Nadine Dorries is a bizarre one. “Something significant happened” they changed her mind, about what? She was a Boris loyalist who was never going into government while this lot were in charge.

My favourite thing she said was lambasting Rishi and his ilk for hastening the ousting of Boris because he was a proven vote-winner, while glossing over the fact he’s also a proven liar, and winning votes is apparently more important than effectively governing the country.

Rishi has shown himself to be weak, given he did nothing about the honours list being a pretty clear-cut case of cronyism. Boris’ hairdresser was on the list for crying out loud. You have people up and down the country raising money for charities, volunteering their time, keeping the country alive and running during the pandemic, and he rewards someone who made his hair look floppy? Anybody with a lick of sense would scrap the list, but I suppose the recently papered-over cracks in the party need to be maintained.

Rishi should just kick the chair away now, anyway. No point waiting a year for an election, unless Keir Starmer is videoed molesting a child the Tories are done, and the sad thing is Labour are no better. They’re trying to (and probably succeed to) take power away from local chapters from being able to choose who they want to represent them in parliament (like Jeremy Corbyn) as part of a quest to systematically eliminate the left-wing from the party. Sad day when the Labour Party doesn’t represent the labour force anymore.

What are you trying to suggest about us lower-boarders, eh?

Fackin’ Bullshiiiiit was a favourite of mine. It was a significant part of Botchamania for the longest time.

Yeah it’s just another in a long line of people who have worked for the government (any government) and presumably want to make a buck selling a book on the subject.

Looking through the Western media and English-speaking segments of Twitter and Facebook, I am so appalled.
Also annoying that western media attach any value to the disgusting Russian lie that Ukraine did it. I saw an interviewer on Deutsche Welle ask a Ukranian official to respond to this obvious lie. Absolute cringe. Why is such a ridiculous claim even worth reporting?

Yes, in theory we can't proof that the Russians did it. Who knows, in theory it might have been aliens. Jeez.

It sells papers/views/clicks. Some people don’t care how they make money.

Traveling internationally with an infant is horrid, don’t do it.

I don’t know how but I’ve done something horrible to my ribs on my right side, and I hold the kid on my left side, which has done horrible things to my arm. And I’ve still got one more flight to go!

One cool thing was having a four hour night though. Traveling East, currently sitting in Schiphol in Amsterdam… which is slightly annoying, given my first flight went West, short hop domestic flight, and the big international one basically flew back over the airport I started at, and near enough flew overthe airport I’ll hopefully end up at (Edinburgh).

The other way I’ll get… too many hours of sunlight. Leaving at 10am in a couple of weeks and chasing the sun.

Unfortunately I think destroying the dam is the first step in that. Doesn’t that dam supply water to cool the the plant at zaporzhizhia(sp?)?
