It needs to be more than just flat numbers, and you damn well know it.

Let's not derail with Dark Souls stories again...

12948
I was going to have a moving node, personally. As you say, the rules don't oppose it. If anyone has issues with that... proposals, I guess.

12949
Could someone educate me more about nodes? I've read what information is available in the Tick update but I still have some questions.

Does the size of the node affect the intensity of the powers given or just the area of effect?
Can a god choose what effect the node has if it creates it?
Can the effect of the node be changed by that god?
Can nodes be enlarged? Is the cost to enlarge the difference between the sizes or the full price?

In order: I was under the impression the effect was to provide a source of magical power to draw from in regards to schools of magic.

Effect being magical power, but as Stirk did with his proposal, there doesn't seem to be limitations on what quite the leyline is (in his case, ores that could be smelted and fashioned into equipment)

No idea, perhaps this needs to be defined further via proposals.

I would imagine so, but the proce of doing so may need to be defined via proposals.

No, Neumann was designed. He was not simply brute forced into *action*. Races can grow and develop with essence. Actions do not always require essence, agents can be made with assistance and can grow and develop themselves, as well.

All these things wouldn't exist without an investment of Essence first, and zero Essence actions are easier to oppose.

I'm not saying I don't like good RP flavour, but to say anything in this game doesn't book down to application of Essence is incorrect. Some people are just a bit less creative when it comes to this application.

Edit for awful formatting

Aye, it's a village green, far as I can tell. Essentially a green space for the town to use for various things. Not much call for it in this day and age I imagine :))

Atian wakes up and watches the Draki in boredom then something strikes his mind.

Ahah!

Teach the Draki how to build boats

"Perhaps I can be of aid in that endeavour? Nothing encourages a mortal to build better boats than a violent maelstrom."

12952
Didn't say I wanted to, but how did Neumann come into being? Essence was thrown at it. It's how we get anything in the game. Races and agents and actions.

12953
Why is it always the 'loving' gods who are so quick to kill?
Because indirect fighting works so well?
It's certainly much more interesting than 'Spend Essence to hurt X'
That's what it all boils down to in the end though.

That's 'cause Herbert White knocked them for six with a "get off my lawn!" for good measure.

Xenia sighs again, her form flickering. She looks between Editor Mischief and Munroe.

"Do not blame the Editor for this. All too often the divine respond with words and debate, and meaningless gestures enacted upon the physical world, instead of direct action. I did not expect to be the first threat to your divinity, but now we shall see what this Council is made of, if the threat will be allowed to exist, or not."

"Given my experience in other bubbles, I imagine your excessive use of force will be noted, as well as Isgon's opportunism, and very much taken not account should any of the others decide to act against you.

Mischief retaliated after Munroe attacked their mortals. They even allowed an opening for the rest of us to stop Munroe's death. Only Ascald seems to have any great desire to stop the mob taking down Munroe, which speaks well of either how we feel about Munroe specifically, or how we feel about our fellow deities in general."

I was perhaps a little hasty in proclaiming you as scum, though you are certainly the leading suspect in my eyes, so I'll keep my vote where it is.

I don't think FoU is/was scum proof though, and I did say why I felt he was the best choice to lynch given the information we had during D1. It was fortunate happenstance that his wincon was actually worse than what he claimed.

Moonlit's absence is bothering me for the moment, but there's 39 hours for him to do what I hope he's going to do.

I also note you didn't answer my question regarding proof of the "enlightened sect" you mentioned earlier.

Starver:Would you trust Moonlit to confirm or deny Hector?
I would hope so.  Because his interaction with Fallacy (RIP) makes him the most objective.  Although I do worry that Hector might be read 'wrong', I know what Hector's hoping. Gotta hope that answers given at night actually can't be faked, right?

(Hector's in denial mode, I see.)

What is it I'm hoping, brah?

"Well, out of thin air you start to attack a god, just because of accusations and an essence "steal" if you want to call it that. Apparently, thoughtless self-justice is considered lawful around your parts then?"
Survey the lands of Gnu, gather information on amount of settlements and their sizes. Also if not to strainful to the one that calculates, find out the numbers of the most prominent three settlements on Gnu.

"I support the attack because of the mass murders of the news boys. Also how do we know he won't do what he's done in the future?"

"This coming from the one who has created things to actively hunt the worshippers of another god."

"Those worshippers are actually dangerous"

"Then teach your races to defend themselves against them. You have no right to eliminate another god's income because you disagree with their methods."
