I like how the article reduces the various geopolitical and national political factors that engendered the rise of Nazism to “drugs are bad mmm’kay, except when they come from plants.”

At what point in processing does a psychoactive substance become synthetic? Second step and beyond?

I’m not sure why the post was that, as opposed to “check out my game it’s cool” though. I certainly have zero interest in it from this.

I am quite private with my things so apologies for vaguebooking, but if you’re struggling, call someone you care about. They’d prefer that to the alternative.

Sounds like you need to do something like the Highland Clearances brah.

There’s usually deals between parties that happen so things actually get done, whether that’s formal coalitions or concessions made on a case-by-case basis.

There was a weird one I think in Scotland somewhere in which one of Labour or the Tories were forming a coalition with the other, which went over very poorly.

Majorities aren’t really necessary, they just need to wheel and deal a bit more than if they did have one.

I’d like a sky burial. Leave me on a mountaintop for the birds to eat me.

Quote
Let me fly far away from here
Fun fun fun, in the sun sun sun
I want to lie, shipwrecked and comatose
Drinking fresh mango juice
Gold fish shoals nibbling at my toes
Fun fun fun in the sun sun sun

Not a bad exit

I have not seen that for years, certainly not the more recent series. Back to Earth, or whatever it was called, was the last one I watched.

Tucker Carlson will apparently be bringing his particular brand of lying free-speech to Twitter, as his show will now be relaunched on the platform.

Is a club sandwich, with three slices of bread, two sandwiches stacked on top of each other with one of the middle piece of bread being part of both sandwiches, or one giant sandwich?

Open faced sarnie isn't between two slices, it's something on bread. Bung two of them together it's a sandwich.

In a flatbread it's not a sandwich unless you accidentally tear the bread in two. It's stuffing inside a bread pocket.
What about an open-faced sarnie, or something wrapped in a flatbread?

You’re too late itms been covered.

Or not, as that would make it a sandwich.

If you weren’t maintaining flexibility during that time I would imagine so.

I used to be able to quite comfortably get my left arm up my back, these days it’s sore when I do it.

Does this also mean if you cut the hot dog bun into two, it becomes the base for a hot dog sandwich?

I thought we were on the same wavelength but you’re clearly bananas.

Partly for the PB, partly for calling it a biscuit, and partly for eating it.

PB&J is a classic example of two things which are nice on their own but are not good together.

The British Sandwich Association says sandwiches are constructed cold, so disagree.

The USDA’s definition of sandwich is wrong. 35% cooked meat minimum? Get out of town.
