Fackin' pagans, raiding my coast. *shakes fist*
Ah yes, the dangerous Wisconsin coast. Its local villages give rise to a hearty breed of folk; those not lost in Lake Superior's deadly typhoons learn to live in a constant state of alert lest they be carried off by heathen Canadian privateers.

Yes, many's the villager who's woken in the dead of night to the clank of metal and cries of "sorry aboot this!"

Hey man, they can get down into Lake Michigan and terrorise the Eastern coast too! All them ferries, and all those caches of cheese and cranberries. Nobody's safe!

Might even stop in at Chicago for some pizza for the way back, if everyone behaves themselves.

We've had appearances from Wuba, Vector, and now Caz, since a long time.

We met in a little café and thought 'oh, yea, let's visit bay12, that'll really screw with their heads.'

Might have something to do with pagan settings?

Emotional ones take fucking forever, though. A strong inner voice is useful in these situations.

I wonder if this is why I have so much problems here.

Schizophrenia does not make a happy and healthy mind. Despite my best efforts.

You can teach yourself to have a good inner voice. I'm naturally quite introspective so I was quite good at noticing what thoughts caused what feelings (or what feelings caused what thoughts!)

Just takes a bit of practice and paying attention.

Putnam's choice it seems, if we want him to host.

You know for a while I thought I forgot certain things. And maybe that none of this crap bothered me anymore.

But it's coming back, we're almost up to the one year anniversary of my heart being torn out and it still hurts just as bad now that I can actually remember it.

I don't know how anyone's supposed to get over this kind of bullshit. Even when I think I'm actually improving it just comes right back...

Time heals all wounds.

Emotional ones take fucking forever, though. A strong inner voice is useful in these situations. You've been through it before, you can do it again.

Shadow of Arkham Mordor is only depressing when you play it.

Final flag referendum closed ~an hour ago. Provisional results are 57% against the change and 43% for it (with an unspecified number of spoiled votes not counted).
Vote counting is to be done Wednesday, but for now it looks like we're not going to be adopting the dumb ugly shitflag.

Well... Clearly NZ is boring at if you're voting about flags.

But yeah, what was wrong with the old one?

I am starting to think my old whining about feeling like the forum villain was actually based on something tangible rather then just response to my incredibly negativity and depression aggravating it.

It is kind of flat out weird now that I am not in that state of mind to experience it... it also mildly cheeses me of because Neonivek classic didn't need that guff.
If you still think sometimes having unpopular opinions makes you a villain, you're wrong. It makes you a human being capable of independent thought, which is something the world needs more of.
I agree. I actually quite like you Neonivek, it's always good to have different opinions.
Don't think it's too villainous to have different ideas, or to be negative in general (though that will likely be worse for you than us)
