Today I learned that Beluga whales can totally mimic human speech.

They're also complete morons, however

Sounds like a kazoo.

Also, what were you expecting? Cutting political discourse? :P

Turn everything off, see if the machines can turn themselves back on
If they can, get a gun and prepare for Rise of The Machines.
That, or remember Who You Gonna Call.

Haven't played the PC version for a long while, but the console version isn't really any better optimized. The lock-picking one (at least for the PS3) uses the analogue shoulder triggers, which doesn't lend itself well to having a 5 second time limit to get through 5 tumblers.

Can't remember the hacking one so much, I think I had fewer issues with that. It was still difficult though heh.

Ah. That makes more sense.

Claimed actions didn't necessarily go down the way they were claimed though. Seems a bit silly to take them into account.

I found the lockpick/hacking minigames in Fallout to be fun, but the hacking minigame does get a little old after a while.

On the other hand, the most annoying minigame I know is probably the hacking minigame from Bioshock, which wouldn't be stressful at all except they decided to put a timer on it for some reason, and I'm pretty sure you lose health from a failed hack.
Most annoying I encountered is hacking in Alpha Protocol. Not only it's a lousy eye-straining experience, the control is also terrible.

They're also hard as balls on higher difficulties, but I'd consider that a pro rather than a con.

+1

The thread was recently moderated 'cause of them, after all...

What makes you think I'm more likely to be scum than Fallacy, Moonlit?

For those who haven't looked, the claim is he's Town Weakness, The Driver, everybody died if he gets killed.

That is the most ridiculous claim ever Fallacy.

Pixar is a Disney subsidiary.
It's really kind of independent from Disney though?

Well the Chief Creative Officer of Pixar is also the CCO of Disney Animation, so I'm inclined to say no.

I don't pay too much attention to corporate stuff like that, but I know Disney owns them. Any independence they have is gonna be limited.

Augh I have way too much homework for 10:30 at night.

At the risk of sounding like a pedantic prick (and being reminded of many a reprisal by me mum):

You should've done it earlier :P
