I never thought Undertale was trying to be Earthbound. There's influences, sure, but it's mainly it's own thing.

Toby Fox never said so AFAIK, but almost every review and let's-play seemed to mention Earthbound in the first few minutes.

Anyway, my own answer to the OP would be Five Night's at Freddy's. I genuinely thought it was scary and a fun, original idea. Much like the Blair Witch Project, it seemed like one of those things that was initially popular, but then everybody was too cool for it. I wasn't a fan of how it (d)evolved into DEEPEST LORE for the sequels, though.

Right? Everybody seemed to really love it and then really hate it overnight. For the story's sake I feel like it should have stopped at 2.

3 was quite weak, but 4 was interesting.

Not that I ever played them myself. Watching Markiplier play them is enough.

'kay, so, I'm a bit busy but am somewhat bemused by the no scumhunting thing we've got going on.

21 hours left in the day (I think) and we've done literally nothing. Not even a pressure vote remains. You guys... you guys.

Duno if it's necessarily hated, but I recall the Gamespot review gave it something like a 4 out of 10.

Gangsters: Organized Crime, somewhat broken game now, for whatever reason, and I can't play it without getting a virtual machine and stealing re-installing an older copy of Windows, but god damn that game is fun. No other crime sandbox game like it :(

Also, re:ME3ISBEST: no :P ME2 is best, mostly because it fixes the problems from ME1. Mostly. ME3 just rehashes part of the ME1 story, and unsubtly tugs on the emotional bonds you made of almost every other character that was in a previous game. None of the games are particularly fantastic, though...

But that's just, like, my opinion, man.

Me and my team of utterly useless scrubs went 6-0 down with 2:28 left.

Managed to tie the game with 1 second left, after I completely whiffed on a shot to tie, and one of my teammates tapped it in at the back post.

Lost 7-6 but ah well...

Why?

Fallacy just in case Evil has some wierd role that lets them end the day whenever they like.

Moonlit, for jumping to conclusions.

Could just be the way you're dealing with it isn't very good then. Marking the days of such a thing isn't going to help you get over it :P

It has also only been ~four months. Emotional shit takes time, bro.

That has nothing at all to do with the point Neo.  You don't send you breeding population to die in a conflict, that's called "Shooting yourself in the foot.", and is generally considered really stupid.

You know that... Men are part of the breeding population too right?

The part men play in it is significantly shorter than the part the ladies play, though.

Also drafting women might get a bit dicey; there will be instances of "draft dodging" that a woman gets a letter (or whatever happens) and then immediately goes out to try to get pregnant to avoid it.

What's the problem? Unless it's an active game... in which case, What's the problem, answer when the game is done (on a postcard, please)?

Crazy male supremacist comment on youtube.

Spoiler (click to show/hide)

It's kinda funny that him and his worldviews give people like Sarkeesian a leg to stand on.
Awful as that guy is, I don't believe that he gives me any more faith in the ideology that "We decide what's racist and sexist and we have to point it out to you".
True but he's proof that feminists have other things to fight for than their own delusions and a nonexistent evil patriarchy that keeps them down.
Things like this guy spewing rabid androcentrism and his kin who would like to see women reduced to a free fuck and house service with rights equal to what they get in Saudi Arabia.
So let's lock them all in a room with a big pile of weapons and no medical supplies, then when the bloodshed is over we just send any survivors to the electric chair. The world would get on much better if both groups were terminated abruptly and with extreme prejudice.
Little bit extreme is it not?

"You guys disagree, so we're gonna lock you in a room 'til you kill each other. Survivors will be executed."

Are both sets of ideas so reprehensible that we need to eliminate anyone who holds them in high regard?

I hate myself. It will be 120 days tommorow, I haven't punched stuff or were particulary out of control for like two weeks, just mostly irritated at my own thoughts and I just went back to the whole "angry" bullshit. Fuck.

Just out of curiousity, what is the 120 days the anniversary of?
