That's not what you said though:

I actually think Deus Asmoth is very towny.

That's an assumption, based on:

He has been active and always has a reason to vote for somebody. Most of the time it is a reason nobody else has been using before.

Maxim: "Activity is not indicative of alignment"

Well you're asking us to reconsider our stance on you, so I'm pointing out that you're pretty much just assuming because DA is playing well must mean he's town.

Since you won't do it, I guess I will.

DA: given that we've kind of pointed out all the things that are making fillipk (lack of engagement, following the herd, bandwagoning) and OSG (active lurking, obfuscation despite being told to stop, defensiveness) our top scumspects, what makes you think OSG is more likely to be scum than fillipk?

He's experienced enough to be an IC, so of course he's going to make insightful posts. Does good insight make someone town?

Doesn't really make him town though... anyway, according to lurker tracker, DA has been the least active of us, so... maybe try again?

Hohoho. Lawsuit from the whoeverthefuck brothers that tried to do that.

Anyway, you've indulged in those three up there, so if we're going by common tell count, you're still the one

You're also trying to get the next-easiest lynch. Why not pressure DA, since no one else has really done that throughout the game?
Because I think Fillipk is scum. I actually think Deus Asmoth is very towny.
What makes you think that?

I think I'm just being an elitist snob.

"buying games just to get a little sticker that says you beat it!? Back in my day you had to leave the machine on to prove to your friends you beat it!"

It's difficult to describe what it is I mean. Buying games (any genre) just to get the achievements is bad juju, since I think it defeats the purpose of playing games: for enjoyment.

I mean I've bought games just for the achievements (WatchDogs and Shadow Of Arkham Mordor, specifically) and I was just left feeling really dirty and stupid afterward, but that could've just been 'cause those games aren't particularly good, and I bought them when they came out, so expensive.

I hate feeling like I've wasted my money on a game, which could be why I prefer strategy games and RPGs.

I guess you're right. 8 playthroughs (or whatever, it's been a while) and collecting those on the way because I enjoyed having goals over my 800+ hours of playtime mean I'm wrong. So tell me how to play it right, please? I don't want to make the mistake of enjoying a game again.
Based on playing 800+ hours, you weren't playing just to fill out the achievements.  So Hector and I aren't talking about you.
I was going to say that, but I decided to be more of a dick instead.

If you bought the game purely to get the achievements and set it aside never to think of it again, then that's... kind of not the point of video games. As Rolan said 800+ hours invested probably means you were doing other, more interesting shit. Like playing the game.

Equally so, the idea of people doing it to one of my favourite games was :0 to me, so yeah.

Also, being elitist "I play games to enjoy myself", 'cause - as previously stated - I hold the status of dick. Probably a tinge of jealousy since I haven't got all the achievements yet...

Just being elitist, don't mind me, Mr. Butthurt.

If you did it just to do that, sure.

I'm just biased. F: NV is probably my favourite RPG, and one of my favourite games of ever.
