And that's assuming it gets reported to Flabsy.

Your case about me continuing longer even after it caused everybody to vote for me is actually counterintuitive for scum. Why would scum continue to do something after it IMMIDIATELY got everybody to vote for him? I find the stuff I did to be really usefull in organizing my ideas which is why I kept doing it. Did any of you even consider the possibility that Hector could have fakeclaimed before I mentioned if? I don't think that he did, but knowing that he could  would help me out in a situation where he isn't nightkilled. TMS gave the suggestion that we vote no-lynch, than doc protect hector. This kind of plan has no downsides and guarentees a win in a situation where Hector is scum. Why do you guys not like fallback plans with no downsides? It is like an extra assurance.

Mostly because we've already discussed that fallback, specifically in how useless a no lynch would be, and then you're willing to waste both PRs during the night. You've also essentially made it much easier for the scum to find the jailor - if one exists - by getting everyone to discuss it, though I won't say how. Yet you still discuss it. You only need to do a statistical thing one time, because the numbers won't change based on what happens in the game, but you've been harping on about it for ages, pulling us back in to discussing it and keeping us from putting attention on other players.

Instead of defending yourself directly, perhaps you'd like to be pro-active and pressure someone else? Or do you not like the idea of clearing someone else so we return our attention to you?

Ministry of Criminality

Spoiler: Votes (click to show/hide)

Spoiler: Actions (click to show/hide)

Ministry of Truth -> Ministry of Criminality

Dear Minister of Criminality,

Shall we move forward on renovations for the museum?  I assume we will be splitting the cost of refurbishment and weekly staff costs 50/50?

Yours Sincerely,
Minister of Truth

MoC -> Minitrue

Perhaps further discussion of what we would like would be beneficial?

All Ministries

My rehabilitation program in the prisons is coming along well, and I have received an offer from a glorious Aplandian company willing to invest in it!

They are offering $200,000 to increase productivity and training for the rehabilitation "volunteers". However, any finished product will be bought for 75% the price we would get on the open market for one year.

I would like to accept the offer, given my ministry will not be able to invest that much money anytime soon, as it would allow my ministry to become more self-sufficient, and allow more taxes to be distributed to other ministries. I would be remiss not to consult my fellow ministers on the proposal, so what do you all have to say?

So... interesting.

Perhaps this is what FoU was referring to. Shall we find out, Starver?

PPE: perhaps not then. I still win anyway

Dude, no. That'll keep the game going 'til frickin' Monday. I don't want you to give up, but you have ~45hrs to convince us. If that's not enough, oh well.

oppose extension/shorten

Is that a possibility for this particular round, Tomasque?
What do you mean?

Can I force a draw by refusing to hammer Starver or FoU/endlessly forcing no lynches etc.?

Well you can still win even if you're dead anyway :P if you're town.

I think the active lurking from you is more scummy than fillipk, at the moment. We still have another extension (TDS the day should end on midnight Thursday) should we need to use it.

Well voting yourself is very rarely viewed as a town thing round these parts, so - as a piece of advice for other games you play in - you shouldn't do it.

As you may have surmised, I've already won this round, though you or FoU could share that too, depending on what happens, so voting yourself is a bad, bad idea.

I'm inclined to vote for FoU, but I'd rather force a draw if I can heh.

I disagree, I've never seen you stick at something like what you were doing for so long, even after you were told it's not useful. You haven't been asking questions or putting pressure on anyone, which is something you do in addition to other analysis.

That's just how I like to play, and I find it useful even if others don't. In the future, I think I'll just make my own spreadsheets and flowcharts and only share them if it's important. But what would have been my motive, as a scum, to do all that stuff I did? And why continue doing it after it got everybody to vote for me? My motive as town is it helps me see all the possibilities and figure out how to make my actions now cause the best case scenarios later. What do you think would be my scum motive?

Flood the game with numbers that don't really mean anything (it considers the "optimum" play, which isn't going to happen every time, and pretty much disregards anything else) and indirectly encourage folk to comment and come up with their own numbers, which doesn't help us find scum.

As I said, it makes it look as though you're doing something useful when it really isn't. We don't know if there's a jailor yet, and probably won't until they flip or the game ends, so discussing what we'll do if there is pointless.

Oh, phew. I forgot Hector changed his vote to me again.

Hector, you were talking about how stupid it would have been if you were scum to claim cop. Do the same for me.
How stupid would it have been to Bus Taneb, when there wasn't even a massive wagon on him, and then put all my attention on myself with all the stuff I did.

Well I recall a thing that NQT did that looked at bussing in BM games, since it pretty much doesn't happen (probably because it's not really something conducive to learning how to play) but since there aren't any new players left (I think, Moonlit and fillipk I've played a few games outside of BMs with) that it kinda doesn't matter anymore...

Perhaps you were thinking that the statistical theorycrafting would be a good way to appear to be engaging without actually doing it. It's harder for me to look at that as being a townie mistake than me claiming.

There's probably a bit of bias there since I obviously know my role and not yours, so... yeah. The fact that you continued doing the statistical analysis stuff after being told (at least by me) that it wasn't useful doesn't sit well either.

Sorry Starver. It was TBF's fault, anyway. He stole pretty much the only role that would've caused him problems, and he wasn't quite aware of how much my wincon changed as a result of it.

FoU is the Strangler, you're the Pianist - and I imagine strangled again, since I'm not - and I am the most awesomest investigator-turned-nothing-turned-oh-I'm-investigator-again.

Though there is arguably a kernel of truth to FoU's bomb claim since this could go on indefinitely if I decide to be a dick :))

No ties for you, bro.

You're not having much luck, what with the arm and now your eye and the impending death...

Well... that surely gives us every reason to lynch you then :P

I shall wait on the happily ever after thing though. I'm greedy, I'm not gonna share no VPs! >:(
