Ah you got there before I did… it bears repeating though.

Russia was pumping soldiers into Eastern Ukraine since the “ceasefire” in 2014, and have been supporting them ever since, and fast-tracking getting people there Russian passports precisely because they’ve been wanting to go back in since then, and they need merely the thinnest veneer of an excuse to do so..

Nah it’s just normal.

Demands for gun control form the Dems, thoughts and prayers as well as likely recriminations of the “mentally ill” from the Republicans, nothing getting done either way.

imo, taking the documents was not so bad or unusual; it seems that over-classification makes it pretty much impossible for any politician in Washington to to go a single day without moving some classified documents around.
Where things went wrong was Trump's refusal to return the documents, or even bother to secure them properly after it was explained to him that they contained highly sensitive information. That mishandling of the situation is pretty much the polar opposite of how Biden handled his classified documents.

burn-before-reading levels of classified.

There’s a joke in there somewhere.

That’s pretty good going. I was never very good at keeping up with writing.

It’s a wonderful example to set for everyone, the person responsible for the purse strings not paying their taxes, and actively trying to avoid paying them by hiding their income.

Decided to go about the furthest I could from inhabited space afte finishing the tutorial, in search of a plasma cannon blueprint.

Passed a beacon which said “danger: high” and discovered a very significant Remnant fleet which I ran away from, then got caught by, managed to have one ship escape the battle, and then get damaged to the point of loss from running out of supplies on the way back to inhabited space. I was circled by a very fast moving unknown object for a long time in hyperspace also.

I was a little sad that the game kinda “reset” me to the starting load out rather than just outright killing me, but I don’t think that’s possible.

Now I’m smuggling harvested organs for pirates.

It is 'to opress'.
I am impressed by your stubbornness.

Westminster's moving to block the Scottish GRA reform bill.

Congratulations, you just handed the SNP an amazing win and piece of propaganda. Unless that's the point, to try and put pressure on Labour when they come in.
It's unsurprising that the labour party almost unanimously abstained on the bill, what with their voter base being split between the classic labour types who've voted labour for generations and the nu labour university-going city elite that state their pronouns when greeting you.

I'm pretty sure the extra police powers to deal with protesters is in response to the truckers protest in canada year, and the climate protestors that have been gluing themselves to roads recently. E: yep, clicked the link, they agree.

Clogging the streets leads to emergency services being unable to respond quickly. Should not be tolerated outside of preapproved demonstrations to keep disruption minimal.
Uh, protests are SUPPOSED to be disruptive. Maximally disruptive.
Protests are supposed to be visible; disruption is a tool that allows that. Having a good relationship with the media does too.

Bonus points for helicopter noises.

The first time I came across the concept was in a movie. A body swap thing in which Rob Schneider’s Trump character has their consciousness swapped with a high school cheerleader.

I believe there was a toilet attendant teaching the girl-in-Rob-Schneider’s-body how to pee, and said something along the lines “now shake it, but only do it twice. Otherwise you’re playing with it.”

You are now aware that you are consciously breathing
Your tongue can't rest comfortably in your mouth.

By the way, when did you last blink?

Salivate.

What’s wrong with having a wee moan that gets out of hand every so often?

Which is gonna suck sooner or later, because once you make any outlet illegal then why not go to the most extreme? It makes you feel better, you're more likely to get change, and the punishment's pretty much the same either way.

How long until workers are dragging managers and CEOs out of their houses and beating them to death?

Pretty sure one of the (many, many) times Ineos tried to force massive cuts to the workforce wages and benefits some of the strikers set up picket lines around the homes of the managers and executives.

I had a breakdown at university, but I was there for the wrong reasons anyway.

I met some lifelong friends there though.
