I seem to think you’re on sertraline.

If so it does come with a wonderful array of gasto-intestinal side-effects, which range from the retentive to expulsive.

Hopefully you feel better soon though, regardless of the cause!

Yeah how dare you lobby for higher standards. Know your bloody place, El Dubs.

Hopefully that snow melt runs off before it starts freezing again.

Guess we're lucky here since we haven't really had it stay cold long enough to get any ice yet.

Therein lies the problem, though the snow isn’t high enough for this yet:

The front of my property faces south, which means the sun melts the snow even if it gets below freezing. This also means if there is a pile of snow, it melts and the melt water pools in the shade behind it, and that then freezes into an inch thick sheet of ice which is an utter bastard to break up, even with a good ice chopper.

It is so rare for a company to reward loyalty.

Edit: it is apparently above freezing for the next 10 days :o. The snow might melt!

Especially this World Cup. It’s been controversial since it was awarded in ‘08 and has been getting steadily worse since.

Yesterday FIFA announced they won’t be selling alcohol in the stadiums (they will in corporate sections) which is 2 days before the competition starts, and today the head of FIFA had a bizarre press conference essentially saying that European countries don’t have any right to tell off Qatar for having shitty human rights and mistreating migrant workers because they’ve been bad for 3,000 years.

That’s before you even get to the football!

Twitter looks to be dying anyway.

Possibly being beaten to death.

Depends on the bear. Some bears will be frightened off if you make yourself big and loud.

There was a person training to be a manager at my previous place of employment who got his forklift license then immediately lost it by driving a forklift tine through a door.

Smart llama, Duna, smart llama.

Get well soon.

Exactly, Ukraine aren’t the ones indiscriminately firing missiles into another country in a horribly unpleasant war of attrition.

On another note, the alternative to it being a Ukrainian missile is that it was a Russian missile. I don’t think that Russian missiles killing NATO member nation’s civilians is something to wish for.

I disagree!

Some people work in at-will employment states so can be fired immediately without notice.

If they can’t get the best out of their employees then it sounds like you’d be better elsewhere anyway.

That would be a soul-destroying end to a 25 year old IP.
