Well… we need wood and stone so we might as well explore the island a bit more.

I propose exploring inland a bit, so 45D, 45C, and 44C.

That was my major problems with the lawsuit is that it’s bringing up the cost of living crisis now, while claiming the problem started 6 years ago, even though Sony has been selling games digitally for longer than that. As you say, they aren’t something you need to spend money on so if it’s too expensive… just don’t buy them.

Why they chose Sony to sue as opposed to Valve or Microsoft or Epic or Apple or Google is beyond me though. This is not a “problem” limited to Sony, all the major players do it.

Technically the West didn’t directly fund anything going on in Afghanistan at the time, it was all funneled through Pakistani intelligence.

Given Bin Laden was chummy with the head of Pakistani intelligence, it’s not unlikely that he received some of it/

It is both very rewarding and akin to torture.

Evidently that doesn’t seem to change:p sounds like your kid has a good head on his shoulders though, so I’m sure he’ll be able to get through the rigours of the day and be ready to smash it again tomorrow.

Meanwhile, I have a 4-month old struggling with such difficult concepts as closing their eyes when they’re tired and not screeching like a banshee.

Слава героям.

I wonder if we could supply resources to the Russian partisans at all. Working behind the front lines like that could be very effective.
Yeah the West should 100% fund and arm any insurgency that appears.
Osama Bin Laden comes to mind when people say things like that.
Fidel Castro is an earlier example, and Vladimir Lenin predates that.
Funding “revolution” comes back to bite you in the ass, was my point.

The last job I got, admittedly part-time, there was a question along the lines of “how long would you like to work for [company]?” and I answered “for as long as [company] is willing to employ me” or some such.

I did get an interview and got the job, and evidently impressed some people enough that when I needed to transfer, there was an issue that the assistant store manager (bearing in mind this is of a 200k+ sq. ft. store, and they were like my boss’ boss’ boss) actually fought my corner for me and got it through.

You should reward yourself for each position you apply for though, just to keep your motivation up.

Priority of mul over div or add over sub doesn’t matter.  It’s helpful to know why: multiplication and division are actually the same thing; addition and subtraction are also the same thing.

Ninjad: I disagree; left to right shouldn’t matter. If it does matter, use parens/brackets.

According to a mathematician I watch on the youtoobs, apparently it is important. You do the multiplication and division in order from left to right, then addition and subtraction from left to right.

I’m not sure if this is an American thing though, or if my maths teachers just never went into that level of nuance with it.

You’re going to die painfully anyway as the lungs aren’t the only place there’s air in your body.

My main problem with Republicans is they claim votes are rigged or stolen but still stand for elections.

Maybe everybody else holds their breath, and that's why they die so quickly.

Your characted exhales instead, and thanks to that they get that 0.5 minute of consciousness.
I mean, in reality I think you get about 10 seconds because that's how long it takes the deoxygenated (Because in vacuum your lungs start scrubbing gas out of your blood) blood to reach the brain, and the brain goes lights out almost immediately when that happens.

Actually it's between 45-90 seconds for most people, and that's just the "time of useful consciousness" i.e. the time before you start losing cognitive function. Unconsciousness takes a couple of minutes, and permanent brain damage begins at about 5 minutes without oxygen supply.

It depends on how and what you were breathing before getting decompressed but that's how long NASA estimates an astronaut to be able to operate in a completely depressurized environment. Assuming you don't slightly explode due to rapid decompression, that is.
Personally I find that doubtful, when someone's successfully strangling you you get about 10 seconds before you go floppy so 60-90 for useful consciousness and 120 for unconsciousness seems very optimistic to me.

Of course, you're gonna die regardless. Your lungs will be torn up simply by the pressure differential between your blood and the vacuum, you'll be at least temporarily blind from the decompression damage to your eyes, your mucous membranes are gonna burst, you'll have bruising everywhere, and if you're orbiting the sun there'll be enough unfiltered radiation to give you a nice sunburn in the brief stint outside.

Actually why do we want to go into space again? I forget.

There aren’t many people in space to strangle you.

Also, if all it took was 10 seconds of holding your breath for unconsciousness, swimming would be a particularly brutal sport.

Honestly, I'd much rather have a politician who openly parties and gets drunk than one who lies about partying and getting drunk.

The Brits already tried that with their last Prime Minister. It turns out we're better off with politicians that at least have the brains to hide how much drugs/booze they use.

Well… he lied about partying when his government put in restrictions on the number of people allowed to gather in any place, when people had to restrict the number of people that could attend funerals for the deadly disease doing the rounds those restrictions were supposedly going to reduce.

3 scum with no abilities, all vanilla townies but 1, who is either a doc or a cop.
And to be fair, the ones I at least played in were plauged by Extends

We don’t do extensions anymore because holy fuck people used them all the goddamn time and it was so boring. I think we have learned the hard way that extensions are only to be used sparingly, and in specific circumstances, like if a player replaces in.

The BMs got updated a few times, the doc got changed to a jailkeeper and there was always a JK and a cop,  it then it got changed to three possible of having one, other, or both in the most recent iterations I remember.

You did play a BM NJW, I was in it being a horrible person.
