((Do I have to maintain prescience as my first half action or does it just matter that I do it at some point during my turn?))

As a European, seeing the word baloney spelled bologna is incredibly painful.

You mean Brit. The rest of Europe doesn't speak English.

edit: Also I am pretty sure it's the Americans who say baloney. Since it's, you know, an engliphonetisation of bologna. And they are the one with the most Italians (except Italy, but they probably would say it in Italian or have a different name for it).

I mean European because Bologna isn’t in Britain :p I have no idea why bologna (the food) is spelled or pronounced the way it is when America does have such a significant Italian population.

I live in Wisconsin
I assume you have the mandatory cheddar cheese wedge hat, correct?
It looks more like Swiss cheese to me, but I have it.

I used to work with someone who was lactose intolerant but still consumed dairy because it’s so yummy.

He had tablets he could take to… do something, but even if he forgot or didn’t have any he’d still consume dairy.

I live in Wisconsin though, so that may be a contributory factor.

I'm in my late 20s now and it's left me in a bit of a funk.

I'm not in my early adult life, in in my adult adult life. I feel I've lost two years of it to the pandemic and depression and an extra three to depression by itself. On top of that, the realisation I'm trans makes me feel like I was robbed of being able to live most of my life the way it *should* have been. It's all just sort of stacked together into a crappy thing.

I suppose it's not helped by the fact that now I'm not just properly aware of my own mortality (I have been for a while now) but since the depression's lifted I'm actually concerned about it. I'm just hoping we do actually discover some anti-aging treatment because 70-90 years doesn't feel like it'll be enough time. Especially since a good chunk of those have already gone.

If you’re worried about wasting time, you should stop worrying about “wasted” time :p think forwards, not backwards.

wtf do you need to do that 70 years isn’t enough to do it though? That’s my entire life so far again!

There is only so much you can take off for hot weather. At least with the cold if you have sufficient layers you’ll not feel it.

That was the group that was told not to use that training by the group that isn’t trained to deal with a burning building and gets criticized for their disregard for human life quite frequently.

Of course it won’t, anti-abortion activists only care about kids when they’re in the womb.

Grate em, dry em (press between paper towels imo), mix em with flour and grated onion and salt and pepper, and then fry em. Boil ‘em, mash ‘em, put ‘em in a stew.

If youre blending them youd have to like.... i dunno, deep fry em at a high heat. Also probably not what youre after.

FTFY

Nighttime temperature in my bedroom has been in the mid 20s (23-28 Celsius) for the past few days.

I live in Scotland, what the hell is the temperature doing?

This is hot enough to be uncomfortable for my pets, and they're reptiles and tropical invertebrates.

Yeah that’s really bizarre about Scotland. When I still lived there it was similar on hot days, even living in a ground floor flat.

My house is 80o downstairs sans cooling, and I sweat my balls off while sitting in my underwear at that temperature.

Huh, so I looked into it and some people genuinely don't get an endorphin high from exercise. That's... unfortunate.

Granted, I use the gym as an outlet for excess energy, not to ride a runner's high.

You have excess energy? I barely do anything and I require stimulants to have enough energy to do it!

Apparently he also aborted and mummified a foetus a few weeks ago too.
