What would be the problem to you if someone did think you were a sweaty fatty at ping pong?

I’d be quite willing to bet that their fountain is knackered, my wife and I ordered a coke and a sprite from a global chain of fast food sellers, and while they looked like a coke and a sprite they both tasted identically horrible, as though the machine had not been cleaned.

Maybe they used the wrong water or something.

Are you absolutely sure it’s lemonade?

They did negotiate with the Germans (and Italians) to grant them the Sudetenland (which was also heavily fortified with, I think, French-supplied weapons, which the Germans were happy to take) without having Czechoslovakia at the table, which is a bit scummy.

That photo is a photo of the girl he was purported to have abused and the woman who was recently convicted of trafficking her and other young girls to at least one rich client.

Snow joking matter, guys.

It’s not exclusive to the medical field; experts think that their expertise translates to other fields, even if they are entirely unrelated.

Also, Vector’s link to someone making fun of quack medicine also suggested Prozac (fluoxetine) as a treatment for Covid? I want to know how increasing serotonin treats any kind of infection, never mind specifically this, but I also really don’t. It’s not really something you want to mess with if you don’t have to.

It must smell really good.

At the halfway point it looked like something that came out my cat.

I also had the super-blonde youth, and now have brown hair, with a bit of a red sheen if I let my beard grow out.

I am on board with being able to choose your family, though it takes a great deal of effort and probably a lot dealing with shame too, even if the shake is a bit stupid. There shouldn’t be anything special about cutting off an unhealthy relationship just because you share a greater portion of DNA with someone.

I don’t speak to my dad as he is selfish to the point of being utterly horrible to his nearest and dearest so he can get what he wants. I realized recently, years after the fact, that he attempted to bribe my sister and I to say we wanted to move house so he could lock my mother - with whom he had reconciled at the time, thankfully a short-lived madness on my her part - into a financial obligation with him so it would be harder for her to leave again.

it's ominous that the same megabanks that dumpstered the economy last time around are guzzling magnitudes of funds without oversight.

Almost like there was no consequences.

Pfft, one banker in Britain lost his knighthood. Er… 4 years later.

If you’re not doing anything for 10 days I wouldn’t bother getting tested.

That does mean you can’t do anything for 10 days though.

Maybe he just wants to take a sabbatical and enter politics for a bit.

my experience with toys was more that no matter how many times you bounced them off other living things, the toys stayed in a similar number of pieces

and even if it didn't you could totally still whang it off someone's head

toys don't break, friend, they simply gain wider area of effect

I threw a toy wooden train at my brother - who is almost 10 years my senior - and he chased me down the street.
