Do you have any paper mills near you? It might be crap for building anything with it, but they might still be able to use it.

What’s with the stories in sports games now? I bought it to play a career mode, not sit through cutscenes I have zero interest in seeing.

Started a career in nba 2k21, sat through two minutes of artsy fartsy credit sequence, some fog that opened up on what I assume was New York, then the home menu of the PS4 because fuck this if you won’t let me skip it I could be spending this time actually playing a game, so I played Blood Bowl 2 instead.

As an addendum, the TV presentation stuff in sports games is also ridiculous but it actually makes sense, especially if you’re employing a genuine sports commentator.

Watching a playthrough of God of War (2018), and taking the time to pause and peek at the runic writing they've put in the environment.

...and finding the mistakes. There's a section where whoever was in charge of the set design ended up using the wrong rune. For the entire phrase.

In their defense, the futhark runes for F and A are pretty similar... But I have to say that I was definitely scratching my head trying to work out what the hell "Hfti eltf Mfni" was supposed to mean.

Obviously the carver of the runes was gagged at the time.

What's sad is that San Andreas from 2004 is more developed than Cyberpunk 2077.
Yeah but they don't have custom cyberdongs
it did have hot coffee though.

Just stay out of the basement at work and you'll be fine.

The alamo doesn't have a basement...
That would be why you need to stay out of the basement, yes.
Someone I used to work with told newbies that they needed to go to the basement to get various things to do their job so they spent inordinate amounts of time looking for the basement door that didn’t exist.

Really though, what’s the point in eating a burrito if you don’t make a fuckhuge mess?

Like, who plays RDR2 at 177 FPS

I misread this as "who plays R2D2 at 177FPS".

Hey, you don’t know what those droids get up to in their private time.

A gun is not a cure. Man you're not very good at this.

They certainly won’t be suffering for long after a gun is involved.

Though I suppose it depends where you get shot…

Eh, the primary difference between laundry detergent and handsoap is that laundry detergent is specifically designed to be used on inanimate objects. I doubt these corporations wouldn't use this as an opportunity to use stronger, but more toxic cleaning chemicals.

Inanimate objects generally used by animate objects erryday, so probably not any more toxic than regular soap.

It’s not a stuoid question to ask, it’s just not one that can be answered on the interwebs. You could speak in a particular dialect (I’m Scottish, so Scots is my jam, though rarely get to indulge in it given my locale) it just won’t translate to text, unless you go the Irvine Welsh route and just spell everything phonetically the way you’d say it.

3431
Because I brought it up in passing a page ago, I wanna ask: What dialect does my English most closely resemble?

It doesn’t. Dialects don’t translate well via text, ken?

People can be so stupid sometimes.

It might just be me but surely having closure of the situation, one way or the other, is better than the uncertainty?

Ah well. You probably would have been better spending your time encouraging him to get in touch, but as long as he does get in touch I guess that’s the main thing.

Otacon from MGS appears to be based on Daniel Jackson from the movie Stargate.

I mean, they look very similar, the movie was directed by Roland Emmerich, who is apparently the namesake of the character, and the movie was released a few years before the game.

Or maybe it didn’t come from the lab at all?

China aren’t going to let outside sources in to verify any of this either way, as they already stymied it, so this will change nothing.
