ToonyMan and notquitethere slam their binders on the table decisively, then point at each other and say in unison “that’s why he’s mafia.”

Luckyowl looks back and forth between them quizzically.

*crickets*

The sun suddenly moves in the sky so it’s sunset.

“D-did we break hi—“ starts ToonyMan as Luckyowl leaps from his chair and grabs ToonyMan by the scruff of his neck and pushes him against the wall.

“I knew it!” he shouts, in a suddenly heavy cockney accent, “you had crumbs on your shirt sleeves this whole time!”

*Eastenders drums*

I was sad to see them go, especially as they were going through a tough period around about the time they got banned, but they broke the rules repeatedly, and Toady can’t play favourites.

Hector: what happens if the votes are tied?

The mafia decide who gets lynched if the votes are tied at the deadline.

It’s not as though they need to protect their modesty is it?

Love how Republicans that have been complicit in keeping Trump’s base fired up to the point they stormed government are now saying the democrats shouldn’t do anything to fire up his base further.

notquitethere mutters something unpleasant about webadict as they retire upstairs to sleep, exhausted from the cookie-related mischief. 4maskwolf nods in agreement while ToonyMan stands, tears in their eyes, and shouts “it was webadict!”

They each take an arm and carry webadict to the front door, opening it. A rush of cold air sweeps through the house. webadict, roused from their stupor, makes an almighty struggle, breaking free from ToonyMan and pulling 4maskwolf to the ground.

They struggle ineffectually with each other for what seems an eternity, until webadict kicks 4maskwolf away. A lone cookie spills from 4maskwolf’s jacket, rolling on its edge down the garden path, before clearing the kerb, majestically tumbling through the air in all its sugary glory.

It lands with a wobble in the road, spinning like a coin as though it were showing off for a friend. The spin slows, ending with the cookie facing the house, each of you staring, mouth’s agape, as it falls onto its back. 4maskwolf scrabbles from the ground and shouts “I was saving that one for later!” as a look of shock passes their face, clamping their hands over their mouth, but is too late, the words are uttered, and everyone knows their betrayal.

A passing van crushes the last cookie to dust.

webadict and 4maskwolf leave the house, each heading in a separate direction in a cold, cruel, cookieless world. They both glance longingly upon the remains of the smashed cookie.

notquitethere hammers on their window, screaming something that sounds like “4maskwolf no mustard!” because this is PG.

Luckyowl and ToonyMan shake their head sadly, closing the door and returning inside. An accomplice remains.

I'm going to change the rules slightly in order to cover for my inability to consider outcomes properly, and this will be reflected in the OP.

To summarise changes/additions: Hammers are 50% of the players +1, rounded down; any deadlocks in voting at the deadline will be broken by the mafia team, chosen privately in their quicktopic.

If you have any issues with that, that's your problem the deadlock issue is unlikely to occur, but I'm willing to consider other options if you all really hate it.

I also just realised despite referring to NQT as NQT, I thought their username was notquitehere. Ah well.
