Also most patties are like 30% bread crumbs at least

It's a big problem if you've got Celiac like me. Makes fast food a pain.

I imagine most situations are a pain in which you rely on someone else understanding that it isn’t just whether or not the food you eat contains it, it’s also preparing it in a place that has either been very thoroughly cleaned prior to the preparation of the gluten-free stuff or, ideally, a place that is only used to prepare gluten-free stuffed, but also that anything used to prepare the gluten-free stuff again needs to be cleaned thoroughly or used only for gluten-free stuff.

It must also be a pain that gluten-free bread is just awful.

My diet is a fuck ton of oats, rice, bread e.t.c. and I'm on 8% body fat, 3% bone and everything else lean muscle mass. When it comes to nutritional value a diverse diet is best, but if your only concern is weight, it's just a matter of energy in minus energy out. I had this discussion with a lot of my friends where I had to explain to them eating two beef patties isn't gonna help them lose weight just because they left out the bread and lettuce...
I know your frustration well d00d. I don't get where the cult of carb hate comes from

Carbs are sugar and sugar is the easiest thing for your body to turn into energy and if you make more energy than you use your body turns it to SATAN WORSHIPPING PAEDOPHILES fat, and fat is bad, therefore carbs are bad.

Just like Alpha Protocol, then! :D

I am saddened that will be the only game in that series. The gameplay itself wasn’t spectacular, but even the very limited conversation system they had was really an interesting way to influence how the characters reacted to you throughout the game.

I fondly remember Conrad refusing to follow orders at the end ‘cause he liked me more than his boss, though I’ve never been able to replicate that so maybe I’m making it up.

I think they meant the devs weren’t around in the ‘80s, but I also wasn’t expecting the game to be quite so divisive on so many fronts, so what do I know.

They didn't even bother to load the soundtrack with synthwave, it's mostly contemporary generic rap and rock. They completely missed that the 'punk' component ties directly into punk values -- nonconformity, anti-system ideals, &c. Instead they interpreted it as "everyone conforms to the same shallow, capitalist pop-punk standard with the same ten """rebellious""" hair styles dyed in the same six shades of neon.

Kind of kneecaps the point you're trying to make when you wish it instead had superficial 80s faux-nostalgia shit made by people who weren't alive in the 80s.

Well, one of the most iconic cyberpunk movies was made in the ‘80s with a Vangelis soundtrack. It may be derivative, but they aren’t exactly breaking new ground with this. Cyberpunk is as much about atmosphere as it is pessimistic dystopia and hacking shit.

The biggest bit of spit in our faces is honestly that it's not even an RPG. Witcher wasn't either, just an overhyped series of action games, but they at least had the excuse there of it being based on a property with a protagonist.

2077 is based on a TTRPG but it only allows you to play a single character with minimal choices re: appearance and none whatsoever re: attitude, manner of speech, outlook on life, treatment of friends vs. business associates vs. enemies, &c.

I'm honestly sick to fucking death of devs getting away with calling games RPGs because they have a skill tree with twenty variations on +10% to nose picking.

I want to see Trump have a meltdown over the betrayal of the people he put on the bench.

Please let it happen, and please let it convince Republicans that they don’t  have to kow-tow to this buffoon anymore.

I look forward to the inevitable thread being locked over either “PC MASTER RACE” or “my PC’s dick is bigger than your PC’s dick”

I believe the first two Fallout games changed dialogue options (and some character responses) based on the player’s intelligence score.

I’m pretty sure they also misspelled words in the dialogue for intelligence-challenged PC’s.

Blended soup is better. Strained one sounds like hot salty water and little else.

That’s basically what it is.

My maternal grandmother hosted a family dinner thing every month, and my uncle always told me that all I was eating was flavored water.
