I’ll probably keep changing my mind until the game starts, and then regret not taking part, but mafia is stressful and I probably don’t need that right now.

NQT ( I think, it may have been flabort) ran a game many years ago with a mechanic like that. You were assigned an alignment and you were then assigned some currency and could buy and sell various abilities in the shop.

I tested positive for covid - unsurprisingly - and have a further two weeks off work (really a week and a half now) and maybe another test before I can return?

Anyway, instead of incessantly refreshing my emails so I know when I get my test results, I am incessantly refreshing my emails so I can get the paperwork I need to fill in so I can keep my job while not being paid because hey even though being in retail is important it’s not so important we actually want you to feel valuable or anything.

My chest also feels as though it contains a small hive of angry bees, so it’s probably a good thing I don’t have to go back yet.

Barr has ordered a federal review or whatever of counts in battleground states, and someone has resigned in protest.

Do a class on something you’re interested in. Join a club. Take up a (team) sport.

There.  Are.  None.

We've been over this.  They hate me within like three weeks anyway because I'm not human enough, so what's even the point anymore.

Unless you are actively engaging in insults to the most important things they care about, a reasonable person won’t hate you within three weeks.

These things you think they’re judging you for are your issues. You don’t think you’re good enough at being human so you avoid situations in which that might become obvious to someone else.

PPE: that post being a good example of what I’m talking about. If all you’re looking for is a problem or reason it won’t work, everything looks like a nail. Or something.

Yeah I don't like it when strangers talk to me. Chances are it was them not wanting to talk to someone rather than anything specific to you.

It overshot the end of the track, apparently. Not entirely sure how that happens, but the driver is very lucky.
