I just dry my hands properly to prevent dry skin, as lotion won’t help my joints :p

4187
I can pop all the joints on my fingers, including the hidden third thumb joint :o

Another recent development.

Even more developments on that front unfortunately result in a little bit of pain in the middle joints on my pinkies when I wash my hands - at least ‘til I pop ‘em - as a result of washing my hands so much since April.

I have discovered a reliable way to pop the joint of my big toe closest the the foot, on each foot.

It is most satisfying.

Their schtick is god created literally everything! It is hubris of the highest order to suggest the only thing that the world (presumably humans) can see of god (again, created all the things) is something created by humans.

This is one of many reasons why I think organised religion is so disgusting.

Proportions of positive tests are increasing again in Wisconsin, and this is before the presumed bump from Labor Day shenanigans.

Also broke the record for number of positive tests in a day on Friday, but I think they also did the most tests ever, too. Kinda sad that they haven’t been testing as much lately. For some reason I think 11k daily tests is good (or 12k, 2% of the population) and they’ve been under that for weeks.

Also heading for Fall, and however fun that is for airborne respiratory diseases. I tend to get sick when the seasons change (as probably most people do) and I managed to avoid that for Spring, I hope I avoid it for Fall...

YEAH TAKE THAT FINLAND THIS IS HOW IT'S DONE

That’s no way to talk about your homeland /Sweden is just Western Finland

I jest but I don’t know to what you are referring Finland should take.

I assume football because football is happening but it could be some weird Scandinavian thing, like ear-pulling or ice sculpting.

Looks like something he did for 2012.

Highly amusing that he suggested Obama has no experience in balancing payroll or some shit when Trump has bankrupted multiple businesses, and also that Obama was to blame for an economy that tanked before he actually took office.

Aside from that, I’m not sure this is a big deal.

I think the politicians sending American deathbots into foreign countries absolutely bear responsibility for the action, it's what being an accountable leader means

And that's it, then?  Wow.  Well ok, I guess it's liberating to know that so long as I never take a leadership role in an organization, I never have to worry about whether I've ever done anything wrong.

The best response to “just following orders” is “if they asked you to jump off a bridge would you do it?”

I think LW may have meant leaders should be held responsible in addition to the folks what did it.

I have been thinking of late, and it is indeed late.

Do the various churches around the world reinforce abusive relationships? I’m only familiar with Christianity, specifically Catholicism, but if someone gets divorced they’re unable to partake in Communion if they enter into another relationship, ‘cause SIN.

So this presents the crux of my issue: if someone wants a divorce because their partner is abusive, but faces some form of shunning within their religious community as a result - particularly if the abused and the victim are in the same religious community - it presents the victim of the abuse with a significant reason not to get the divorce because they risk losing what could be a significant part of their life.

Or something like that, I’m tired and biased, but also curious.

Or a buggy interface. New game and all that.

Homosexuals are quite capable of engaging in behaviour that will result in impregnarion, they’re just less likely to be inclined to do it. This is done in game by reducing the fertility of a homosexual character.

The shitgibbon hasn't really perfected much of anything. There are ways to purposefully speak in more or less unfalsifiable statements, but that's not really what trump does. His speaking method is mostly just narcissistic grifter + dementia. He says plenty that can be fact checked, he just alternately doesn't give a damn or remember what it was.

He has perfected it though, presumably over the years of business and “business” he conducted.

He very rarely comes down on one side of something, unless it’s fuck the Dems/Republicans are so great, or to say he never said “that thing you’re criticizing me about.”

This was probably most egregious when he said there were good people on both sides of a Nazi and anti-Nazi protest in Charlottesville, or when he was all “have you guys considered injecting bleach into people, or putting the sun in their lungs?” which was obviously sarcasm, even though he never jokes.

He’s like the personification of post-truth ideology.

I'm sure organised crime never employed perfectly normal people for perfectly normal tasks.

Considering the IRS caught them, they certainly didn't hire accountants...

Well they did hire accountants, they just weren’t good enough at hiding the fact they didn’t pay taxes.
