Its been free to play for almost a year now. They've also announced CKIII.

You say announced, it releases on the 1st of September.

Maybe it's an infrarred camera

This was the hook that made me read about fridges on the previous page.

Never in a million years would I have guessed it was in relation to cameras inside fridges.

Also, I think it’s a joke, so my brain is ready for the day.

I think that was his point.

A billion dollar corporation didn’t pay the drop-in-the-ocean medical fees that wouldn’t have happened had they not served magma in a paper cup.

The stupid, stupid thing about it is that the guy suing him is a sheriff and it’s his bodycam footage that shows he instigated the entire situation.

It's the personal care and concern, and all the little touches that make Putin such an endearing and effective leader.
I heard he even brings an extra umbrella to keep his friends dry when it rains! :)
He really likes to take them out with for sushi, too!

At any rate discussing raped minors and abortion is fucking depressing. Now I'm below the floor.

There’s a terrible joke in there.

Oh they’re 5G microchips now.

Why is it Bill Gates that’s the apparent mastermind behind all this? Because he happens to be spending a great deal of money on philanthropy?

He’s covering overtime and not throwing away more sorting machines, closing sorting centers or removing mailboxes.

I imagine this is in part because he and Trump realized the vast majority of people view the postal service positively, and also because upwards of 20 states were planning to sue because of the delays the changes would have caused.

Better than letting it continue.

Pretty sure I watched that movie, actually. I was just ripping on it the other day.
There’s a movie about that? What’s it called?

Infernal Affairs is the original, a Hong Kong movie. It’s very good. It’s a trilogy, the first film is basically a planted mafia member trying for figure out who the undercover cop is in his gang, using his position as a police officer.

Hollywood remade it and called it The Departed and did some bad things to it, but is still otherwise pretty good.
What did Hollywood do to it?

Well... the biggest one is a major spoiler, and the one I was thinking of. It’s been a while since I’ve seen either film.

"And is there a way we can do something like that, by pushing a pineapple inside, almost a reaming? So it'd be interesting to check that."

“Of course I knew it would be pineapples that would be the cure, some very smart people were saying “it’s never going to work” but I told them “just you watch” and I was right.”

I certainly intend to vote in person, myself. The added risk will be negligible in most cases, according to the best research we have on the subject.

What is the best research?

Wisconsin had fun times in April for a state Supreme Court election, during which Milwaukee - which had quite the covid surge at the time - had their usual 180 polling places cut down to 5.

CDC suggested there were no increases as a result of voting in April, but others suggest the more people voted in-person, the more cases increased, which makes sense.

Be sensible, I guess is the advice. Social distance, wear masks, clean things often.

Buy Terry Pratchett books instead, problem solved.
Good thinking! A few of those and I might just turn myself off books forever. ;)

What is it about Pratchett you dislike?

The Sundrop lady came back again, didn't she?
She's in Hector turf. Waiting for the time to come to strike out again. Unless shes like the demon from the movie that stalked teens having sex but this one uses the forums and start to visit us one by one.

It is inevitable.
