Or more drunkenness because people know there are fewer hours to get the drinking done, so drink more in a shorter period.

Long after the sun has set, after the glaciers have melted, the seasons changed again and agin after the last mammal breathed, long after the oceans have frozen back to ice, long after volcans gone extinct and long after a spacefaring AI has won it's battle for supremacy, long after they evaluated every fossil and ruin to be found on the cold half of this earth that looked towards outer space during the supernova... Long after that supergalactic entity shut itself down into hibernation, long after the universe crumbled into total enthropy... There will still be this nagging voice, asking for sundrop in a bottle.

It is terrifying.

He is meant to be psychic you know. He also commented on other Konami games you played if you had a save file on the same memory card.

You could still win with it plugged into the first slot, you just had to call the colonel many times, and then shoot some busts.

MSG4 has a low amount of gameplay for the length, and what we get isn't that great - it really felt like a step down from 3. The story had a number of flaws (although there were some brilliant avoidances of normal flaws in the concepts) and did too good a job of tying everything together.

It’s the final game of the series chronologically.

It’s not really a clusterfuck though, even if it isn’t very good.

There’s a great deal of story in the Metal Gear game’s on the MSX. Hell, there’s a classic Kojima length cutscene in the middle of the second one in which Snake is chatting to one of the other characters for backstory, only to make it a bit more poignant later when that character is killed, and who they get killed by.

Big Boss and Gray Fox are from those games, and they’re important characters in the series.

MGS4 is the weakest game in the series, but it’s not bad by any stretch of the imagination.

MGS5 was unfinished because of Konami, not Kojima. Even then, the game is still fun in and of itself, you just won’t get a payoff at the end because the story is not finished.

Have fun in an enclosed environment with recirculating air and, perhaps worst of all, other people.

You’ll be fine though, unless you become stateless in mid-air or something. The worst you’ll be doing is quarantining now for two weeks.

Well... that’s not the worst thing, but whatever, I think too much.

Re: Defunding the police:

Defunding the police doesn’t (read: shouldn’t) mean taking resources away from the police, it means diverting funding from the police to other agencies (like social work) to relieve the burden from police of dealing with non-police matters.

Ideally, this would free the police up from not being police to actually police issues like dealing with violent crime, while the issues that influence visit crime get dealt with by different, now better funded agencies.

The big problem with the phrase “defund the police” is the part after the money is taken from police doesn’t get explained by the pithy phrase, so people wonder how the now (in their minds) underfunded police actually do their job.

Great story!  But wouldn't your son have ended up with Kinslayer anyway?  Not the end of the world but pretty harsh IIRC.
I think there's a mod that adds an "abdicate" option, but it feels pretty cheaty.
It's hard to call that cheaty when it actually happened in real life many times.
Probably not because the heir has higher martial ability though.

It’d also be abusable to get the best of your children on the throne, too. If your third in line was the one you wanted to play, and you couldn’t change your succession law, you could die, then abdicate with the next two in order to get that person on the throne.

Hahaha I just opened a mint wrapper and inside was another identical wrapper around the mint

I have similar experiences with Reese’s mini cups.

They come in a foil wrapper, and a little paper cup inside that. You occasionally get a double paper cup inside, and once I had a triple cup!

Yeah I got a letter from the car company I bought my car through. Had to get financing through them in order to get the car, otherwise they wouldn’t sell it to me.

The letter is how they use my information. I’m not allowed to tell them to stop sharing my information with their affiliates for their every-day business, nor am I allowed to stop them from marketing shit to me, or stop them from sharing my information with non-affiliates they have agreements with to market shit to me.

I have to explicitly tell them I don’t want them sharing certain parts of my information with their affiliates, or to stop them from sharing my information for their affiliates and non-affiliates they have no agreement with from marketing shit to me.

I also got his letter for the first time 3.5 years after I bought the car, and six months after I actually finished paying for the car.

So, continuing the fun time fuck ups in education in the various UK states, the Scottish education minister capitulated and said results will be changed to teacher and lecturer estimates, unless they got a higher grade.

In England’s “robust” system, 40% of results were downgraded (though 27% achieved the 2 highest grades, a record) though the British education secretary enacted a triple lock system two days prior to the release of results, which basically means a student will receive the higher grade of their estimated grade, their mock exam grade, or an exam resit in autumn grade.

The no confidence vote on the Scottish education secretary failed because the Greens decided that going to teacher estimates was enough, but the vote went ahead anyway because they need the spectacle apparently. Currently no news on Scottish views on what’s happened elsewhere in the UK, but since 25% of results being downgraded by moderators is a catastrophe, one would hope they feel the same about 40% of results being downgraded by moderators in Engerland.

A fucking appetizer.

At least he’s honest about hating democracy.

Also the economy and non-urban people.
