So Wisconsin’s motto for this safer at home initiative that nobody apparently gives a shit about (at least where I live) is flatten the curve oh it’s actually keep calm and flatten the curve, because what everyone needs in times of crisis is years-old memes.

Because nobody really cares about it (‘cause it has no teeth and the Dem governor isn’t going to do anything beyond lip service as a result of the Republican controlled legislature) the curve is in fact getting steeper, which is cool and all, but I don’t particularly want to get sick, so yay idiots thinking they’re safe because there’s only a handful of confirmed cases outside of Milwaukee and Madison.

Steeper and steeper, yo.

I also work rehabilitate in a grocery store, three days a week.

Why don't you let children inside?

Basically what methylatedspirit said. Allegedly to put fewer people at risk.

It said pets aren’t allowed in either, but pets aren’t allowed in anyway so I’m not sure why they need a covid-19 warning sign to remind people.

I think it does have a pretty direct relation to what’s being discussed.

Words have meanings, use them responsibly.

I don’t mind staying home all the time.

What bothers me is the varying degrees of serious people take the global public health crisis. I work in retail, some customers come in with masks and gloves on, other people ask me questions and don’t keep a reasonable distance from me, so we have a weird dance in which I take a surreptitious step back and they follow me as though they can’t just read their fucking shopping list to me.

Like, I was leaving work and - despite a sign in front of the store saying don’t bring kids under 16 in - some woman had brought two kids in that were quite obviously under 16.

I don’t understand. Can you not trust your sprogs to not burn your house down in the 45 minutes it takes you to buy whatever shite you intend to buy? I’ve seen families of five or six people coming in, buying bird seed and the like. It is mind-boggling.

Then there’s one of my colleagues. I’ve been working there less than two months and I already get anxious ‘cause she just talks and talks and talks and talks whenever she has an opportunity. She thinks the people wearing the masks shouldn’t be allowed in, because being halfway sensible is somehow a bad thing? I don’t really know.

I was listening to WPR this morning, the guests were two members of the Wisconsin Senate, each supporting one of the two remaining contenders for the democrat nomination.

I was rather unamused by the Biden supported using the word Joe-mentum, and was glad I didn’t immediately mute the nonsense because one of the callers asked if he would talk about Joe Biden’s dementia, much to the chagrin of the host who chastised him for not asking the question he said he’d ask.

The Sanders supporter sounded unwell and particularly anti-Biden, saying he supported Sanders because Biden was pants, and then mysteriously disappeared after the break to recover from the dementia question.

Edit: oh this was because Wisconsin isn’t postponing the primary on Tuesday, or the Supreme Court election either.

I think he was still suggesting that segregation was a good thing as recently as last year.

If the hiring folk are dudes, it could just be they want to bone her.

I used to work in a call center (for two hours) and someone I worked with much later elsewhere told me that they hired all the pretty ladies and ugly dudes to work there.

Admittedly he thought with his penis, so I’m not sure how reliable he is as a source.

Less shocking? The book is terrible.
Well you know what to give to people who you don't like for Christmas now.
Or to me.
Maybe you fall into the first category.

My cousin and I were playing Call of Duty on the map Rust ( a relatively small map) in the Domination game mode.

There are three positions on the map that need to be taken; being in the perimeter of the position will start capturing it, unless a member of the other team is also present. You get 1 point every 5 seconds for every position you hold. First to 200 points wins.

Our team won the game 200 - 0.

tolerance paradox, at least I revoke human dignity based on their actions unlike them who do it based on adress and networth

But I guess Rand Paul's neighbour is the true criminal when Rand casually takes a swim in the congress(?) pool while waiting for his corona test results.

Nah, Raziel just calls anyone who disagrees with them a Nazi.

He’s also a troll, so disagrees with everyone on principle.

I require a rolling ladder to do my job (basically a staircase on wheels) and I needed to leave it and do something else for a bit.

When I returned to it, there was a customer with his hands on it, and I was unable to slap him in the mouth and ask him why he hasn’t paid attention to anything for the past month lest I get the sack.

The problem with that is men’s rights activists arose to challenge women’s rights activists, so probably not.

Do you mind telling us (or me in a PM ‘cause I’m curious likes eh) what specifically you’re looking for with men’s rights?
Basically, they're campaigning against the large amount of misandry in our society and focus on that much like a feminist focuses on misogyny.
To be clear, I do not believe only women take a part in misandry, it's a society wide problem.

Can you give some examples of this?

Doctor Doak returns to his room, expecting to return to his studies when he clocks the note left by Jack.

He reads it, nodding to himself. He opens the third book to the necessary section and re-reads it, making sure he remembers it correctly.

He returns outside. Heading to the apothecary, he requests some jars to grow some mushrooms, showing off the half mushroom that Jack gave him and promising to bring more in case the apothecarist asks for payment.

On his way back to his room, he gathers some materials to aid in growing the mushrooms, and places the half-mushroom in a jar with that.

Once he reaches his room, use nature magic to grow some mushrooms, before studying book 4 in preparation for more practice later.
