Doctor Doak seeks out the sorcerer, intending to ask him about the mage that built the tower, and what he knows of the floromancer and the Seed.

Also, afterward, he will properly read the nature magic books, making notes, to see if he can learn how to deal with the corruption in the forest.

He didn’t want the cruise ship to dock in San Francisco because it would inflate the Covid-19 case numbers in the US.

Because that matters.

Trump has also been around people who have been exposed to the infection indirectly - various senators, his daughter - but doesn’t want to get tested.
