My first home improvement endeavor was to put up curtains (for getting rid of the glare on the tv for video games).

My second home improvement endeavor was to fix the extra holes I drilled because I’m apparently incapable of drilling two holes in a vertical line in the wall.

Still pending, playing video games.

I own a house now. I got my key yesterday.

I didn't think I'd ever own a house, ever. I don't even know what to do.

Wonder how you accumulated so much stuff since your last move will be occurring soon.

Doctor Doak scoffs loudly.

We’ve never had to overtly accept the challenges of the previous rooms we’ve been in, thus our acceptance of the challenge was implicit before we entered the room, so the game stared when we entered the tower!

Edit for autocorrect

This is all nice and well, but where is the room for crushing your enemies, seeing them driven before you, and hearing the lamentations of their women in your philosophy?

According to Joe Shoen, people that improve your productivity make you worth more, and vice verse. Values are created through work, and we can only pass on values that we create.

Or some other bullshit like that, I got fucked off with the whole “you’re only worth something when you’re making money and you’re only any good to society when you’re working” shite.

But yeah, none of those things are work so they’re clearly not useful in any way.

Step on the West side

This is more complex than initially postulated. The gems don’t react when some are on their own, but they do in combination..?

The only advice I have is not to get stuck in a rut and constantly stay at home on your own. Prior to getting a job I did that and it was bad for me, psychologically. Or the job was good for me psychologically, ‘cause it forced me into interactions with people, and despite not liking it, I’m surprisingly good/capable at it. Your own mind can be your worst enemy at times, for some reason people forcing me to engage outside of it at least helps me ignore it.

Anyway, despite that advice, time on your own is not bad, you have to be comfortable in your own company and you also need to recharge too but... basically try to find a balance that works for you.

You expressed an interest in art in another thread - or at least drawing Pikachu anyway - so maybe you could find an art class or some such in your area? ‘cause I think you mentioned in another place that you also had various things already scheduled during your week or something like that.l, so maybe you don’t have time.

Shadow of the Colossus is one of the free games for next month on it, which is a game I have wanted to play for years but not really wanted to pay for ‘cause I didn’t like Ico.

Had a strange incident in Qvadriga earlier, a chariot racing game set in the Roman Empire.

Won my first race. Driver doesn’t improve.

Came second in the second race, second driver doesn’t improve.

Completely give up on the third race, take the outside lane for 2 of the 3 laps with no changes in my tactics for that time and finish last by a significant margin, driver gets a skill point.

Both sides appear to react identically to the same stimulus. That does make this easier to work out.

Perhaps we should see how we each affect the mechanism?

Doctor Doak steps away from the mechanisms.

It will have very little to do with the games then, probably.

Ah, information is good.

We should swap sides.

Swap sides with Burt.

It’s a balancing mechanism, presumably.

Doctor Doak goes to the opposite side from Burt.
