Maybe one day, Trump will declare himself El Presidente for life or just suspend elections.  With thunderous applause.

That does seem to be the plan...
https://twitter.com/realdonaldtrump/status/1225174713992990721

That doesn't even make any sense, he's already an old-ass man, he wouldn't even be able to survive for that much longer. Or atleast not comfortably.

I'll always be confused why anyone would even WANT to clutch onto a seat of power. Besides catering to your own ego, you make endless problems for yourself, and make yourself a huge target.

Trump is vain. I imagine he would pass the seat of power on to his children if he could.

I also suspect part of the impeachment thing was because he goes down in history as being impeached, which will taint his legacy, which is obviously the best legacy of any world leader ever.

"Hey, uhh sir," by which she meant Doak, but she didn't know his name, "I saw you've been analyzing the corpses earlier. What'd you mean by 'they shouldn't have been able to stand, let alone attack anything'? Are... are they zombies?""

Whatever is affecting them seems to be concentrated around the central nervous system. Two of the wolves I examined...” he ponders for a moment, shaking his head in disbelief, “they showed signs of significant internal deterioration, their organs looked as though they had failed. I can’t be sure if this was prior to their... I guess “infection” is a reasonable term, given the growths in the brain and the significant regeneration of the nerves - or if the deterioration was a side effect of same.

I don’t think they are zombies, however. Puppets may be a better description, as I think whatever is causing this only needs them to be able to move and attack.

Doctor Doak sits quietly, staring at his food before suddenly mumbling.

If these creatures retain consciousness, it shows an exceptional level of cruelty...

Doctor Doak nods vigorously.

"Mm. I wanted to discuss something of scientific import to the village, to see if there was perhaps a thaumaturgical explanation to it..."

Discuss the results of the various autopsies, and show Xanios the green goos.

Xanios studies the green goos, listening to Doctor Doak's descriptions of the various autopsies. "Hmmm, yes, I have encountered this substance many times while disposing of the creatures' corpses, and the plants in their brains as well. Indeed, these irregularities seem to have something to do with the creatures' abnormal states, which may very well be magical in nature."

He thinks for a moment.

"I suspect it may have something to do with an entity deep in the forest, causing the rest of the wildlife to become hostile to anything that isn't a part of the forest's natural ecosystem. Perhaps a disturbed nature elemental or something of the like. Whatever it is, it seems intent on destroying everything that isn't a part of the forest."

He then briefly glances at Doctor Doak.

"Say, you're not one of the adventurers that we hired to investigate this business, are you? You don't look much like one." Xanios says, hinting at Doctor Doak's highly peculiar attire and the absence of any adventuring gear.

"You know, there's a group of adventurers gathered outside who should be heading out into the forest soon. Perhaps you should consider joining them on their expedition, I'm sure that will lead to finding out more about what's happening."

Doctor Doak looks down at this dishevelled lab coat (complete with pens) and shrugs. Then smiles widely.

"I've been on quite the adventure recently... I just seem to have forgotten the way home. Perhaps adventuring with this company will help me find it.

Thank you for your expertise, Xanios.
"

With that, he leaves and goes to lunch.

(Note: all player's characters are gathered here to progress the game.)

During lunch time, an older gentleman joined the adventurers for the meal. He introduced himself as Lucy, a representative of Mystville Company, and will be addressing several points of interest for their incoming job.

"I believe Aven have explained the job's description. The forest is acting strange for the past few months and we haven't got the manpower to find out why. It'll be on you to find out and, if possible, do something about it. I will be both your overseer and your healer during ventures outside the village, to ensure that everything operates smoothly. Any questions?"

"Quite frankly the logical conclusion would be to move the village. Xanios seems to think it has something to do with a disgruntled elemental. Wants to destroy everything that isn't part of the forest. Some of the beasts it controls were in very poor condition when I examined them. I mean, they shouldn't have been able to stand, let alone attack anything.

I don't claim to know anything of elementals. Do you know what would happen to the forest if we destroy the elemental?

In addition he collects some of the Bear Claws and Wolf Fangs gathered by the villagers and hands them over to Doctor Doak, as these can be used as ingredients in alchemy.

Doctor Doak gains 1 Bear Claw and 9 Wolf Fangs.

"Oh. Cool. Uh... thanks?"

Doctor Doak wanders to the apothecary once again, to show the apothecarist his new findings, his new green goo (now in varying viscosity!) and ask what to do with the claws and fangs. And also hopefully speak to Xanios.

A man wearing dark blue robes soon enters the apothecary, hastily making his way over to Doctor Doak and the apothecarist. "Are you Doctor Doak? I'm Xanios, the sorcerer. I was told you wanted to see me?" He says in a quick and impatient tone, meanwhile scanning around the room for seemingly nothing in particular.

Doctor Doak nods vigorously.

So...Shadowrun, I guess?

Is it finally time, then? I'm going Decker.

But that means you’re a replicant.

You’ll fit right in with Trump’s New World Order.

I think turning is more important than thrust.

Then again, I transport people, so I sell everything on the ship that doesn’t involve speed (thrust and turning) or adding more spots for people/better paying people.

I also discovered the reverse thrusters don’t seem to work automatically, so I sold those shortly after buying them.

I died many times after deleting my most recent save, but I did that while exploring, running out of fuel, being about 6 jumps away from anything approaching civilization, and occasionally being harassed/murdered very quickly by an alien race apparently made of violence and explosions.

My current save is going well, even with my self-imposed Ironman rules.

There is a series of novels based on the Doom series in which the Mormons play a significant role, in at least one book anyway.

Nah, he just hates Trump enough to do it.

He is only supporting one of the articles of impeachment though; he believes Trump abused his position, but evidently doesn't think Trump was obstructing congress by telling witnesses not to testify or stonewalling congress at every single turn when they asked for documents.

Doctor Doak will move into the shrine and close the door firmly the door, then shoot through any windows at any enemy targets visible.

"It sure is lively out here. May I help you?"

There's an old man in the shrine, sitting calmly on one of the aged pews. He seemed oblivious, or uncaring, to the commotion outside.

Doctor Doak considers this for a moment, shrugs, and walks out. The apothecary wanted more samples, that’s exactly what she’ll get.

He approaches Aven, hands him a pen.

I need you to take notes.

Perform autopsies on the animal corpses, looking to collect as much of the green fluid as possible. External and internal examinations, as performed on the gnolls.

Once the autopsy is completed, take my pen and notes from Aven.

Find the sorcerer, I’d like to discuss something with them. I’ll be at the apothecary, send them over there.

I did that after the Scottish Independence referendum in 2015 and woke up to rioting.

By the winners.

It ultimately didn’t really clear anything up for me.

Basically.

There were probably more degrees I could’ve gone through to get to that point, but my knowledge of computing is limited.
