Yeah, Kagus, you’re totes not the asshole in that sitch. You don’t need someone like that in your life, it seems like an awful lot of effort for being, at best, a fuckbuddy at her convenience.

Now if you want that, fair play to you, but there are probably less unpleasant people to do it with.

Name: Arthur Cox

Physical description: A man in his mid 40s of average height, though is lean. Due to his background, he shaves his head and remains clean-shaven at all times, and favours business casual attire with a preference for multiple pockets.

He has some scarring on the right side face after a violent incident, and lost his right arm in the same attack. In place of the lost appendage is a "skinless" prosthetic that is almost as good as the real thing.

Bio: Arthur is the head of the Peace and Prosperity Party.

Arthur's political aspirations began early. His parents encouraged him to work for his community, so he served a number of years in law enforcement on Capital to keep his people safe. He was injured responding to a domestic incident, unable to defend himself due to restrictive policy. His assailant was released on a technicality, and returned to their family home, killing their spouse in revenge.

He left the force, disillusioned, though his injury resulted in a payout, and the local fame he attained as a result of media coverage of the trial coupled with his speaking out against the restrictive policies the police were forcibly ascribed allowed him to set up the Peace and Security Party.

Assets: Head of the Peace and Prosperity Party

Political Party description: -tougher penalties for criminals
-more police power to combat crime
-people have the right to protect their person and property
-a safe society is a free society
-increase in personal freedoms, and a consequent focus on personal responsibility
-minimal economic regulation

Skills:
charisma 1
administration 0
subterfuge 0
military talent 0
scientific prowess 0
business acumen 0

Edit 'cause I changed my mind partway through doing something else heh.

Further Edit: Are we likely to run into non-human species out there in the universe?

Edit some more to "finish". I'm very tired, looking into various political leanings... I think I intend to be something of a demagogue.

I am also curious. I have an idea for a company, but I can easily enough change it to a political party if necessary.

I am expressing interest, expect a sheet at some point.

Hopefully soon.

Bushfires have been raging for weeks.

I know of two forumites at least that are there, though neither have mentioned (that I’ve seen) worry about it.

PPE: well there you go. It’s not 50, but according to the Beeb it did hit 40 everywhere at some point recently.

Reelya probably knows more about it though.

To be fair, of all the places you could land after falling down the stairs, that doesn’t sound like the worst.

I do believe that was Ghouls n Ghosts, hactually, on the SNES.

The one for the Mega Drive/Genesis was significantly easier, and you only had to beat it one time.

There is an amusing LP of someone playing it (with save states) and they just scream like Luke Skywalker when they figure out they have to play the game through again. I also think there was a few months between them finishing it once and then doing the second part of the playthrough.

Of course it will. It’ll be a different set of personal problems and new issues at a different place of work you have to deal with. /keep it real

The problem with the stormtroopers being shit thing is I think it wasn’t meant to be that they were shit, it was that there was the hint they were being deliberately shit in Episode IV, so they could figure out where the Rebel base was, but they forgot about it in every other episode.

Again, I ain't Catholic, but I did think the whole point was to like, make a complex, symbolic ritual out of the process. Purell dispensers are effective and time saving but I'd probably not describe them as having an aura of reverence.

My church’s thing was a fancy little holder attached to a wall within which was a small saturated sponge you touched and blessed yourself.

Isn't that a little unhygienic? Or was there also a little Dawn Dish Soap along with that holy water?

Maybe it's like the communion wine and holds a little alcohol. Add holy spirits to water, get fairly antiseptic grog.

Heathens! Don’t you know that it is physically impossible for holy water to contain contaminants of any kind?

I've noticed that I have been spending less and less time browsing (let alone posting) in B12. And that saddens me a bit since this is a place in the internet that I can feel comfortable with and that I know I won't be attacked simply for existing.

The thing is, I don't want to leave this place. So I'm kind of in a bit of an emotional bind.

If you don’t want us we don’t want you either.

T’be fair I tend to lurk for the most part, but it’s in the emotion threads and on the mafia forum. I sometimes go through the FGRP forum and then kick myself for missing the start of a game that sounds interesting.

They are meant to be interested in making a KOTOR-type series or movie that’s set millennia before the OT.
