That’s why you go to the references on Wikipedia and cite them instead.

His analysis was done on public information, but the analysis is what was influencing the share prices, and he provided that to the hedge fund prior to it being made public.

Article.

So, this dude who figured out Bernie Madoff was running a pyramid scheme says General Electric is involved in a $38b accounting fraud, saying that’s worse than two similarly massive corporate scandals... but gave an advance copy of his report to a hedge fund and he will receive a share of the profits they get as a result of, presumably, short-selling GE stocks, which dropped by 11% on the heels of it.

Nobody beyond the GE CEO seems to have a problem with that, and I am unsure how this does not constitute some form of insider trading.

They knew they'd failed to deliver to their customers and instead decided to just milk anyone they could for everything it was worth

This is just hyperbolic. Maybe they ran out of money, so they needed to do that in order to continue anything. After all, you're only going to sell DLC to people who already have the underlying game, and are happy enough with it to want more content.

You're also doing Early Access in order to get investment from people who think your idea is cool and that you're going to deliver on it.

If you then turn around and say "well, we're not finished with that idea, but boy howdy this new idea that we want you to pay for in addition to the still unfinished product that you've already paid for that we're not working on because we want you to pay for this "new" stuff. It's a real doozy!" I think people are entitled to get a little bit nonplussed that they've paid for something that you don't seem to be particularly interested in working on.

There are other means of generating investment that don't shaft everyone that has already bought into your idea, like cosmetic packs or getting your name in the game or other inconsequential nonsense.

Yes, and the points you brought up weren’t the things the person got initially annoyed about, nor are they anything new from you, having made this argument many-a-time in the past.

Regardless of your factual accuracy, calling people “fucking retards” in an effort to tell them off for getting upset over something they weren’t getting upset about isn’t really the way to have a discussion.

There are better ways to frame an argument than “everyone is fucking retarded”, min.

Usually they’re heavily monitored, like being checked on every 30 minutes.

There is a magic word for that. "Hello." It's pretty much a handshake protocol where both parties agree to listen to each other for a little bit~
Except for when they don't! Sometimes, people are just complete assholes and will completely, blatantly ignore you for no real reason.

Most aren't, though. It's just getting the guts to actually throw yourself out there that's the tricky part...

Depends on the situation. People on the way to and from places are generally disinclined toward communication from strangers.

Folk in shops are good to practice with, at least saying hello, as they are generally told to do at least that with everyone. Just a case of getting comfortable and reducing that anxiety.

No one actually notices when I do shit like that though.

Got a haircut yesterday and no one said a thing.

People notice when I do it.

Then again I usually wait a year between doing it.

No problem. It’s not really an obvious thing since it doesn’t tell you the possible outcomes or the conditions for them. I found out via the CKII wiki.

That’s the point though; he wants the health through the event and he can’t get it if he doesn’t have the diligent trait.

Use the character finder to search for people outside your realm within diplomatic range that have >15 learning. You may want to filter by your religion and culture, depending on how much people like you or whether or not you care about the opinion penalties for foreigners and/or infidels. You may have to give people a gift of 15 gold to come to you.

Alternatives are looking for the mystic trait, and another trait I can't remember, unless it's just renowned physician and I don't think you can invite someone to court with that trait as they are usually loyal servants. If you're within diplomatic distance of China, you can just give them stuff 'til you get enough grace (I think it's 250, might be 500) to ask them to provide you with a physician.

Stopgap measures include choosing lifestyles that give you the +1 health bonus. Hunting is probably the best one, as you get the +1 bonus from choosing it, +1 from the dog, and potentially +1 from the "train your dog yourself" event, if you already have... the diligent trait certainly, I think also the patient trait.

Partial paralysis is the name of my jam! Always fun when fingers and face just kinda slump and stop working, and I recognize it's not a stroke because I don't care enough to test and check.
Why wouldn’t you want to check? If I had partial paralysis at random times, I’d want to at least know the cause
Kagus is like most depressives in that being in the middle of an episode means you don’t rightly give a shit, and a lot of things can push you into an episode if you’re not paying attention.

Like happy endings for sitcoms set during times of civil strife.

According to the Beeb article I read on it he asked his wife if it would be a good idea, she said he was a silly little boy or some such. He asked his sister to film it, she said it was a stupid idea.

Now he’s being prosecuted as a terrorist because he didn’t think people would freak out when a heavily armed man goes into the same brand of store that was attacked just days prior.

I think it’s this level of idiot that shows why we need better gun control laws. Perhaps if he went to safety classes he wouldn’t have done something so asinine.
