Maybe you just really want to be in a big metal box full of other men.

I am full of sushi, and ordered more than I could eat so I have sushi for breakfast or lunch tomorrow, depending on how ambitious I feel for yogurt and pop tarts before work.

Ah, these things; I have things I want to say to perhaps offer you perspective, but I fear that what works for me won’t work for someone else. Perhaps my fear is more shining a light on how little ambition I have and the means through which I make my life easier, rather than better...

... but anyway, changing perspective might be a useful, if challenging thing. Rather than figuring out what things would make your life... more, I guess is the right word? Rather than that, figure out how to be happy with what you are and what you have.

It is at this point the yawning chasm between what that actually means and how to do it rears its head. Mindfulness is a most important skill to have, particularly when it comes to being aware of your own thoughts, motivations, and changing them.

I’ve had it succeed, but I have no idea about what influences it beyond the “bad shit happens because you’re up all night” events.

Why are evenings always just shit? I chatted with friends today, I exercised today, I had a tasty Subway today... I shouldn't be feeling awful.
I've had that happen to me. I could have an amazing day, yet feel like total shit in the afternoon. I don't know about you, but in my case, it's like I'm sad because I was happy a few hours ago. I don't know why it happens.

Happens to me too, but I don't know why.

Depression.

Could also be a downturn in energy, do you guys eat lunch?

How dare you, the Founding Fathers were omniscient benevolent super-beings, their words will stand the test of time and need no interpretation!

((Well, if I fail an action to fix it, it should make it easier to do it. I think I failed one time, without going back to check...))

General Discussion / Re: Drunk Thread -(Awesome Thread)-

Also, I read today that drinking alcohol is borrowing happiness from tomorrow. Hangover + anxiety/depression that might last a week. But also, tomorrow is Monday, and I'm not going to enjoy that anyway.

Pfft. Anxiety/depression is yesterday, today, and probably tomorrow. The only downside of a hangover is the goddamn nausea. Headaches are fine, tiredness is all the time anyway, but I really don't like that heavy feeling on the belly, and the tension all the way up the throat.

Haven't been like that for a while though. Living in a place in which the only way to get to a pub is to drive is kinda sucky.

Oh, also, according to the weather app this morning, 8 of the next 9 days have a chance for thunderstorms.

Upon checking it just now, 6 of the next 9 days have a chance for thunderstorms, and one day of rain.

5455
Boo. Cold weather is comfy weather.

Yeah, disturbing stuff rather than adults inserting references that go over kid’s heads.

The only way to really know for sure is to fuck everything and see what happens.

Make sure to wrote it down for the science though, otherwise you’re just fucking around, you whore.

Flicking through Facebook, saw a post from something to do with Scottish banter that equates the choice between Johnson and Hunt as PM with choosing between Kate McCann and Jimmy Saville as a babysitter.

I chuckled, and I’m not sorry.

Would we be in this situation had Trump not withdrawn from the nuclear deal?
