Well they are right, a drought is a problem at a hydroelectric dam, which will cause it not to really work well.

Pie is, for the most part, meant to be savoury.

Edgar is overcome with revulsion at the concept of surrender. All war is based on deception though...

Raise my hands very slowly out to shoulder level, palms out, holding my weapon, which I’m using Revisionist to alter into a flare gun. Gesture toward the ship’s flag with the other hand while looking as though I’m going down to my knees and then quickly fire a flare at the helicopter, hopefully blinding them while I make a dash below deck.

Encourage the crew to continue firing on the Elridge’s weapons as we get toward them, and find some muskets to turn into anti-air launchers, and hand some to the crew not manning cannons with orders to shoot that bloody helicopter down.

Change my flare gun back into an proper firearm, resume boarding attempts on the Elridge, and order the crewto fix the damn hole in the ship.

There were a couple of things on the SCP website I was genuinely creeped out by, I just can't remember what they were.

Though that's a couple of things out of the several hundred I read, the majority of which I was picking apart for not making sense or just being boring.

<<<Almost 30 yr old white American man.

Are you implying something is wrong with being almost 30? (27 year old Hans is highly triggered  :P)

Get off the lawn.

I got about 6 paragraphs in and started looking for sources.

Obvious creepypasta is obvious.

I want to conduct sleep deprivation experiments on people though.

An update on police presence:

Apparently “suspicious death” is too strong a description, but that’s basically it. Old person died, police aren’t sure why, autopsy tomorrow, performed in a town about 2 hours away for some reason.

I am underwhelmed, and chagrined I feel that way about someone dying.

A friend of mine in town witnessed a SWAT team raiding their neigbour’s meth lab, so I guess there is some heavy crime. There was also a murder-suicide a while after that...

Cops have been out in force in the steeet behind where I live, caution tape and all. Can’t find anything about it online after a cursory search, local tv news won’t be on ‘til 9. Small town of ~10k people, but rural, so hopefully nothing too serious.

I apparently like drinking fizzy things out of bottles, but I drink diet, uncaffeinated soda so I’m totally healthy.

Not an entire game I wish existed, but I wish more RPGs would use riddles and puzzles. Even if I can't figure it out and just have to look up a walkthrough or brute-force it, it's refreshing to encounter a problem that can't be solved by just grinding the relevant stat to 100 or exploiting a broken crafting system.
Have you played Covert Action? A lot of the game is puzzles to decode enemy communications.
Depends on the route you want to take, and those puzzles can be made easier by boosting the relevant stat at game start.

In saying that, there’s the phone-tapping puzzle (which can rather be abused if you happen to be good at it) and the decode the secret message type puzzles, and the “how do I do car chases!?” puzzle, and if all else fails, watching dots on a screen so you can just go steal the answers at the risk of wasting a bunch of time and exposure if you get caught puzzles.

Fun game though; I still fondly remember that one time I was playing the game on the hardest difficulty and completely failed at stopping anything from happening.

Da’s the one.

I believe a sequel is close to release, also.
