I am reminded of a news story about a woman who named her kid "ABCDE" (pronounced "Ab-city" apparently?) and got pissed when a flight attendant took a picture of the kid's boarding pass and put it on social media because of "name shaming" (and not because of the fact it included personal information which would have been a reasonable complaint)

Well, it’s kind of a dick move when you’re essentially laughing at a child and their identity, particularly when you should be helpful, and not a dick. Parent’s may be foolish for naming their child that, but don’t make the kid feel bad about it; it’s not their fault their parents’ want to stand out.

My nickname is hector, ‘cause I wear glasses. I had some people in school get offended on my behalf, which was most bemusing.

There are a bunch of vessels kicking about, they can pirate them.

I s’pose feasting merchants or whatever would work for me too, though...

Ah well.

My current action works as a minor god anyway, and probably makes more sense rather than creating my own race of pirates.

We could just look at it that Trump’s so damn broke he as to embezzle money from charities to pay his bills.

‘cause that’s what all successful businessmen do, right?

Damn nerds and their math. Yes, it seems Hector spent 3 power in his turn so the listing in his sheet (Which I went by when I went through quickly) didn't reflect that.

As such, I believe its between Aigre and Credst?  Someone wanna double check that before I promise it to someone else unworthy?

Also, sorry Hector, looks like you got demoted by people who can...you know...count and stuff. Yourself actually, looking back at it. Well, your honesty is commendable

Would the +2 to my Action from that power have made me more victorious, and thus ever so slightly more powerful anyway? :P

Power: 16
Sphere: Beating the snot out of things. AKA Combat and Battle

Manifest before my Boys

“MY SONS. THESE ARE DARK TIMES. BUT I HAVE FAITH IN YOU. YOU ARE STRONGEST, TOUGHEST OF MY CREATIONS. YOU SHALL BE THE LEADERS OF MY ARMY’S. THEY SHALL BE MY FINEST WARRIORS, AND THEY SHALL KNOW NO FEAR. AND YOU SHALL LEAD THEM, IN MY
NAME.”

Spend 1 Power to create More Hearty Boys our of the existing Boys. Each shall lead a legion of 100, and thise One Hundred shall be derived from themselves.

Edit for more Dramatic Speech: “HECTORCLESE. YOU HAVE MADE ME PROUD. TOGETHER, ME AND YOU SHALL HELP RAISE ALL THE BOYS TO BE LIKE US. FOR NOW, I NEED YOUR ASSISTANCE. AID ME IN THE CREATION OF THESE LEGIONS, THESE 18 ARMIES.”

Name: Hectorclese the Stout

Power: 3 - probably
Sphere: Victory and Feasting
Description: The Heartiest of Hearty Boys, the pinnacle of what they can be; big and strong, he's always on the lookout for something to eat. He walks among mortals with a dim glow around him, a clear sign of his deification.
Notes: Smarting over the loss of some Heart Boys in the Food Invasion

Hectorclese ponders for a moment.

These 18 fought through the muck and blood- well, actually, I guess it was more grease and sauce, given the quarry,” he lets out a chuckle.  “anyway, they are the strongest. I will give you my aid, and make their thirst for victory and hunger for feasting nigh unquenchable!

Aid Borkle in his efforts to bring the Hearty Boys glory!

They’re going to need something to carry them around, though. They should each have a sublime space vessel, so they can find victory wherever they please. The victorys’ll mount up if we let ‘em do that!

Use 1 power to create a sublime space-faring vessel for each Hearty Boy legate, I s’pose subject to Borkle’s agreement.

((Would like to be very pedantic and say a legion would be upwards of 3,000, though :P))

((piecewise: Hectorclese has 3 power, if I did my maths right? Do the numbers next to the names of players in the pantheon in the OP have significance?))
Math? What are you? Some kinda of neeeeeeerd?
I want to make sure my rise to major toehold godhood is legitimate, and that I also know how much power I have to smash things and possibly eat them.

JEZZA'S GONE AND DONE IT

He has a point, to be fair. She cancelled the vote, had a taxpayer-funded continental jaunt, and had the balls to table the same deal but vote on it a month later.

Edit: never mind, jumped the gun. Sad day :(

Spend 3 power organising the Hearty Boys into a fighting force to match the flow of elementals from Attom's Kitchen, making sure they are able to defeat the food elementals with enough time after victory for proper Feasting prior to sallying forth to defeat the next wave.

Edit: This will obviously require re-connecting Borkle's Arena with the Kitchen. Do that first, with some magnificent space bridge or something.

Bread, in recognition of Uzina's prowess and its role in Hectorclese' rise to godhood, is treated with the highest reverence.

“I’m stuck in the bridge.”

“You mean on the bridge, right?”

“No, my vehicle is literally inside the bridge.”

“Damn, son. Tell me about seeds.”

So, Mulvaney called Trump something along the lines of a horrible human being a few years ago.

New acting chief of staff by Christmas after he’s forced to step aside because if Trump sacks him so soon he’ll look like even more of a clown than usual?

God level: Demi
Power: 0
Description: A Hearty Boy, with rippling muscles and skin as smooth as a baby’s bottom, given the complete lack of hair. Bright blue eyes though, gotta have something.
Notes: Heightened curiousity

Hectorclese has noted his averageness, and is sad. He finds a downed food monster from the fat group, and begins lathering himself in the oils of his fallen foe, chanting quietly to himself things like “get to da chopper” and “I need your clothes, your boots, and your motorcycle”.

Satisfied, he starts stretching, because you need to warm up properly for these things.

O great lord Borkle, I pray to thee. I am Hectorclese, one of your people, and I pledge myself to you, if only you would grant me a boon. Please, Heartiest of Hearty Boys you must...

He begins flexing ritualistically, forming a perfect pose with each word:

PUMP ME UP!

Ritual performed, start smashing the heads of the food elementals, obviously starting with breakfast. Devour the most protein rich examples, and any foe that happens to provide a Hearty Boy challenge.

This is the UK though. They actually have labour laws.
