Just don't punch a kid in the dick when you're going through that.

That's a Fugue in D minor.

You.

For a long time now I have thought you to be highly amusing. Comedy writing, bub. Do it.

Oh the arrogance of man.

"Barely aware."

Humbug.

You are much more polite than I was going to be regarding this, I shall defer to you, at least for the initial reacting part.

To me farming and killing non-self-aware animals is completely ethical, given that they aren't even aware of their own pain. Most farmed animals aren't even aware that they're in captivity, so they're completely indifferent to whether they live their lives "free" or on a farm.

Could you... uh... maybe expand on this a bit? With, like, science or something? ‘cause I’m pretty sure animals are aware of their pain. Mammals, certainly, which I think is what you’re referring to.

Was watching videos of a liberal comedian on YT, and was faced with a 5 and a half minute long ad (that I could’ve skipped but I wanted to see) of some nutter saying there’s a war on saying the word Christmas by the left in Europe and America when referring to vacations and parties and he’s a Jew and he doesn’t mind being wished a merry Christmas and these mad people on the left are eventually going to ban Christmas as a holiday and all this because of inclusivity but yeah mate they’re not being inclusive all those Christmas songs were written by Jews and he feels like if someone wishes him happy holidays and he responds with merry Christmas he’s created tension, in fact he feels like he’s being excluded from something he doesn’t actually celebrate because it’s important to how country.

Like... he spent literally the entire video talking very calmly about that as though he was being reasonable. I... guess this is a symptom of the divisiveness in America or... something? Are there really enough people who believe that the left is trying to ban Christmas that this guy (who is, according to a quick Google, some type of radio host) feels he can increase his listenership by spouting this nonsense?

I mean it’s a wtf that it exists, and a wtf that it played before watching a very liberal comedian’s video.

I agree with that. I avoid creepy farm stuff when possible, but sometimes it's hard to know.

I have no problem with people hunting animals for food. It's natural. Trophy hunting is fukkin' evil, though.... unless there's some kind of necessary-to-the-ecosystem selective purge thing. A man-introduced invasive species, etc.

+1 to this. Have stopped eating meat because of that.

I still eat eggs though. Americans seem to have a thing against free range stuff though, may have to give that up...

There is a galaxy worth of them, to be fair.

Naturally, if your keys fall out of your pocket the person who picks them up will be an asshole.

What if they return them, huh? Huh!? Cynicism. Pah!

I just hope that they eventually get to the stage where they can drill ingots of Martian metal and send them back here. We'd store them in the bar stockpile.

So they are.

According to the wiki, things get a bit weird if have liege kingdoms that aren’t dejure part of your empire, or there are different religions involved. They can basically ignore your laws in some situations.

Yeah those things are separate from crown authority. As poo says, authority only gives you access to them as opposed to implementing them immediately.

I know vassal inheritance laws are the first thing in the laws screen - choices being free and illegal - and I’m reasonably sure the vassal wars thing is next below that, which I think gives you the option for free, external, and illegal.

As for the agnatic-cognatoc thing, if your daughters are competing for votes, you’re not ultimogeniture. I’m reasonably sure you can only change inheritance laws once per character, so you have to wait ‘til your next character to switch it to ultimogeniture.

Unless your game is completely borked, anyway.

No, what you gotta do is scream the name of whatever move you're using.

I tried that, but for some reason shouting "愚蠢的外国人无力地挥舞着他的手臂" just made everyone laugh...

I think that prompts a “我看到你在那里做了什么” from me.

As far as I’m aware, everything that’s not Dharmic (Buddhism, Jainism and... the other one. Hinduism!) Islam or Christian is regarded as Pagan in-game.

Quote from: {THE FUTURE} DNC 2020
Saturn was out of alignment and as a result we could not contact Moragh, The Elder God of Blood and a registered Republican, for counter-sacrifice on the eve of Voting Day. As a result we lost the Presidential Election and one-third of the world's livestock has been taken by the Crimson One in penance. Hillary deserved this win.

excuse me >:( do you know what forum you are posting on or what

I thought Flash Gordon was a linebacker in the movie. Ah well.

Also, George Lucas tried to get the rights to make a Flash Gordon movie, but ended up making Star Wars instead.

So...

Brazil has a spare, what, 25k doctors? Just milling around to replace all the Cubans that left?

Doctors must not get paid well if the supply is that good.
