I just hurl abuse in a heavy Scottish accent.

That’s just what I do every day though.

Per the kansas one, (Since I live in that wretched hive of scum and villainy) --

The local attack ads against Paul Davis are literally Ad Hominems about his being caught in a strip club.

https://www.politifact.com/truth-o-meter/statements/2018/oct/01/congressional-leadership-fund/did-paul-davis-vote-allow-strip-clubs-open-nears-h/

Personally, I find that when a group with literally hundreds of millions of dollars invested into finding dirt comes out with something so shallow it means they cannot really find anything of any real substance to charge with, and shows how weak their hand really is.  "Oh noes! He was caught in a strip club! Woooo!"
*le gasp*

*clutches pearls*

Heh. Noice.
I read that as *clutches penis* like six times before my brain clicked out of woodworking mode into proper text parsing mode.

... what does woodworking have to do with clutching penises?

Nah, all my dukes are of my dynasty.

I don't rightly know what I'm going to be doing now though, since I have the entire island of Britain.

Oh hey, went back to my Shia Scotland game and utterly caned that revolt that was nearly 3x bigger than me.

Now pretty much all my dukes are in prison, and I've made all the duchies have their de jure counties. Also, Byzantium is Shia, for some reason.

I am of the UK, but I live in the US.

It does seem an incredibly inefficient use of advertising money. Though I think the money being spent on the “no” side, from my brief look into it,  aty outstrips the money from the “yes” camp.

Red Dead Redemption and the last 9 missions make me sad, at least after the last one.

Partly because the game makes you think it’s all over when it really rather isn’t, and partly because holy shit that was a great game.

It makes it worse when you know what’s going to happen, having played the game before.

Hey man, we just had a fruitless sex/gender discussion, no need to start another one /s

In other news, the Saudis have gone from “pfft, Khashoggi left the consulate” to “he died in the consulate” to “yeah he was murdered in the consulate” over the course of a week or so.

Good thing that doesn’t call into question their denial that Crown Prince Bin Salman had anything to do with it. I guess you could make the case the “rogue operators” involved were just that good at hiding it from their superiors..?

Wait, there's a place called Derry?  :P

As an aside, they've taken to calling it Derry/Londonderry (actually saying 'slash' when giving the name), a phrase which stirs revulsion in the hearts of all but the politically correct.
There is unironically a Derry in the USA that was split off from another town called Londonderry in the USA
RECURSIVE MEMES

Drove past that a few weeks ago.

A double-take was had at the sign as we passed it.

My take away from that journey is that New Hampshire is awful, don’t go there. Except Concord. Concord was alright.

Er...

I keep seeing adverts against Proposition 8, which is something that would limit the amount of money kidney dialysis clinics can make, or something like that. I think this is a California only thing. I live in Wisconsin.

Is this normal?

Was flicking through Facebook and a family member (two, really) posted a bunch of comments on a picture of a... presumably negative statistic regarding a political figure of the party I support.

Decided on a whim to check the comments. Evidently political discourse doesn’t involve discussing the veracity of said statistic, how it relates to them somehow compromising their politics, or even how it fares compared to other politicians of various stripes, but saying the person in question needs to brush their hair.

“I agree with them I them on the economy, on education, on welfare and healthcare. I’d vote for them, if only they didn’t look like they were fired through a hedge backwards.”

I appear to have discovered something somewhat irritating about myself.

I'm not a morning person. As in, I'm a veritable night owl.

However, not getting up at a decent time in the morning leaves me feeling pretty listless and dissatisfied for the day.

This describes me also.

Then again, I work in the morning, so it suits me. I also actually have a sleeping pattern, which is hugely satisfying.

6432
The “unless it means we can make more money” is implied, I think.

6433
This is the time where, in the future, people can point and say “this is when the schism occurred.”

Nah.

I once said I investigated the guy and he came up mafia and they lynched him.

I also one time had my target be confirmed town on the first night, so swings and roundabouts I s’pose.
