Oh hell I forgot that reference was in there, and I’m glad nothing terribly important happened ‘cause I was like “fuckin’ seriously!?” afterwards.

Was awesome.

An old one I was reminded of for some odd reason.

Two souls ascending to heaven passed a mountain, where they saw two eagles flying.  "Ah, eagles," one soul said to the other.  The eagles, to be polite, said nothing.
I don't get it. "Ah, souls" doesn't sound impolite.

I... think I see what you did there?

Poo has a Tyler Durden-esque alter-ego that actually encourages this sort of behaviour in others.

I will at least say we were on a road in a forest, though the limit varied between 30 and 50mph, a speed at which the cyclists most assuredly were not reaching. Windy forest road though, so absolutely zero chance of risking an overtake there, despite the other driver’s incessant flashing to do something about it. (Of lights, guys, please don’t go there)

Also, GPS. Went to meet up with people, took us through another forest-y backroad. As an aside, more cyclists, but they weren’t in the way, though it was dark and they weren’t wearing reflective or otherwise bright clothing, with the only visible thing from distance being a light on the back of the helmet of the rear rider.

Anyway, not the wtf; on the way back, GPS told us to go a long, straight highway road that led us right back to the hotel.

Probably a misstep by the GOP, given they’ve mobilized the Dems a month before the mid-terms. Holding off the confirmation ‘til afterward would’ve been risky, but they could’ve campaigned on it for the election.

OMG all the people that can’t drive because they’re gawking at all the pretty colors of arboreal death and pulling over to take photos at points that say “DON’T PARK ON THIS SIDE OF THE ROAD YOU FUCKING DUMBASS” and then there are no cycle paths so you get stuck behind cyclists but in front of some shitbag who wants you to overtake. If you want to charge onto the other side of the road at a blind corner because the cyclists are there, be my fucking guest shithead.

Forests are so tranquil.

Dude? It's probably a girl Mandalorian. At this stage they're in balls-deep and if they introduce a white male main character that's not going to end well for them. The ideal choice would be a pacific islander / maori-looking person but realistically they'd probably pick between a black male or white female.
Then they remove the helmet and reveal: Nelson Mandela Mandala

Played by Will Smith

Will Smith, who is in turn played by Samuel L. Jackson

Dubbed over by Morgan Freeman

The DVD extras include commentary by Laurence Fishburne.

To be fair, the recent Tomb Raider movie was properly awful.

Yeah I mean we can make fun of Welsh and Scottish (which is a language) so I don't see why there should be a double standard here.

Scots, to be pedantic. When people talk about "talking Scottish" it's nearly always talking about Scottish English.

To be even more pedantic, Scots is a dialect, and also one that doesn’t have standardized rules in terms of how to spell things.

Scots Gaelic is a language, though. Not sure if people ever refer to that as “Scottish”, however.

On the other hand I saw whales today, and got sunburnt despite it being cloudy all day.
