I was thinking of David Hayter.

I don’t have a pun for VA though.

The replacement Deputy AG wouldn’t be heading the Mueller stuff, it’d be Noel Francisco, the solicitor general.

However, he apparently has a conflict of interest, being a former employee of the folks representing the Trunp campaign so... yeah. Basically they go down the hierarchy and find someone who has no conflicted interests to run the investigation.

Rosenstein won’t get fired ‘til after the mid-terms if he does get fired. No point risking everybody’s ire by doing it beforehand.

T’be fair, they had already denounced him last year for something or other in a letter, so not that big a deal.

Yesterday my dad's truck broke down as I drove it to the beach to help with repairs. As I sat in the hot cab to stay out of the sun, taking measures sips of water, I kept hoping that bay12 would be back up this time.
Is it just me, or does that sound like the start of a novel, possibly a noir?

“The 12th Bay stood dark as my truck rolled to a stop. The broad that hired me - I was always a sucker for a pretty face and a sad story - told me that it was an easy job, one that would make me rich beyond my wildest dreams.

As the hours ticked by and I cooked slowly in my broken vehicle, I realized the error I had made. Number 504 by my count - I was always mindful of my failings - and I vowed to make things right...”

Pathos, Yoink. You should know this, seeing as you’re Pathos and you made the suggestion.

Bullshizzle, my friend.
There’s no night kill with which to end
The town’s quest to catch the scums
So they won’t just sit and suck their thumbs
Maybe so. My read list is the impressions I've got from the other players so far, and can and will change later. But I'll keep saying that the sort of salt webadict has been showing is not something one just fakes.

So ‘cause he’s salty he must be town, aye?

I’ve been frustrated with TBF in lots of games before, guy.

By your logic I was town in all those games, shy.
Okay then. It'd be real great if I could get something a little more, you know, descriptive about this one. I could be scum. But, uh, so could a lot of people. Soooo, I guess the long and short of it is that you're stating an obvious without evidence to back it up. So, care to elaborate on why I'm more likely to be scum?

Didn’t say you were, pal.

IcyTea said you were Strong Town, gal.

Based on nothing more than your frustration... uh... dhal.

@Caz: A role that gets power by lurking seems almost useless to town, to me.

Can you tell me how that role tells you anything about their alignment, mate?

‘cause I could’ve submitted the word “scum” and I still would’ve had the same chance to be town, late.

Why is everyone so bothered by the bloody vote count, grate.

What is webadict doing that’s so audacious? All he is, is ostentatious.

Lots of activity a townie does not make, please don’t make that mistake.
Pure sodium chloride. Webadict is taking such a personal stake in trying to catch scum that only a true psychopath could fake it. And to my knowledge, webadict isn't one. Even though there's the fact that I'm not scum, webadict is investing so much emotional energy in the game that it's hard not to read which side he's on.

Scum have to get the town to do their task,
“How” you ask?
There is no better way
Than doing that during the bloody day.

You think scum!webadict is going to leave it all to chance?
Doubtful, mate, I’d bet my underpants.

I have other questions at this time.
No idea how to get them all to rhyme  :'(

Cheating, that’s how.
FoU must not have a cow.

More later.
PFP and busy, crater.

(As for why I'm not, I don't know if anyone would actually follow me in that, being as there's already webadict arguing to policy-lynch me.)

Why should his opinion affect how others see you?
Play your own game, do what you gotta do.

People won’t follow if you stop playing.
Better do that, or else start praying.

Theresa May is preparing for a no deal by setting the groundwork to blame it on the EU.

*sigh*

I believe that scum benefit more
From any revelations laid at our door
They get info from which they can act
Reveal your role with a bit of tact
At least this early in the game
Later on it won’t be the same

I found my drunk posts.

Oh my word.

I don’t know why it’s a happy.

In an earlier post I said Simon, I meant Sheldon.  Eh.  Both those names start with S, close enough.

And wuba, if only one person is able to be lynched, why are you tying the vote and letting scum decide it?

*grabs TBF and whispers in his ear*
You should count again, I fear...

IcyTea has three while Caz has two,
Just what are you going to do?

Why are you worried about deciders, eh?
Our time ends on, like, Tuesday.
