Just means they’ll live through the apocalypse they’re going to cause, the bastards.

As if my overnight wait at the airport wasn't gruelling enough already, my flight got delayed (after we'd already boarded, due to some safety issue with the aircraft) for a total of something like five hours.

I will laugh heartily if the replacement aircraft winds up somehow exploding or otherwise screwing us over after all this.
At least I got a free coffee and an avocado sushi roll out of the ordeal.
You get sushi on airplanes? How?
I believe the question is airplane sushi why?

Also, I thought Chuckles McAustralian was a veganarian :o

Christ, Egan, why don’t you just give the AI the keys to the missile silos while you’re at it?

Cormac nods at Gorwan, thankful to at least have some other bodies for the bandits to aim at.

’ppreciate it, chief.” as he turned to assess his crew and consider his options. Could hunt through the train for the bandits, but these three didn’t look to be in any shape for doing too much at the same time. It would require nerve, patience, and attention. He shook his head, decision made.

Okay, boys, we know they gotta be headin’ for the engine, so that’s where we wait for ‘em. If we can’t kill ‘em, we hold ‘em off while the rest of us deal with the ones on the hill.” he waits until they’re out of earshot of anyone else before saying the next part, big grin on his face joined by a non-committal chuckle. “Worse comes to worst, we can offer t’ join ‘em if we look like we’re gettin’ beat!” Can’t quite trust these guys yet, he has to keep his options open...

Once at the engine, put everyone in a position to keep the car and all it’s entrances covered, but also so that he can keep an eye on them all, especially the accountant. People who work with numbers can’t be trusted.

The presence of a comma before “and” or “or” in a list, so as to avoid miscommunication.

Yup I live between two tourist lakes and there isn't a summer that goes by without an unsurveiled child, handicapped or drunk that drowns.

I mean, are these tourist lakes for recovering alcoholic disabled children?

Oxford commas are your friend :P though I’m glad you didn’t, just for the imagery.

I appear to have done some unpleasantness to my back, without really having done anything.

Perhaps I need a new seat.

Ah well, my wife stuck her elbow in it and I feel better for the time being. Hopefully I don’t wake up unable to move tomorrow.

Untouchables!
Worse... The Unemployed.
Worse... The Unemployable.
Worser... The Proletariat.
Worsest... people who willingly go off the grid and attempt to live a self-sufficient lifestyle.

He admits he didn’t know about the meeting, but the meeting was to gain information on an opponent from a foreign national.

It also is essentially him admitting he lied when he first said anything about it.

He says his son is wonderful, but he’s more than happy to drop him in the shit, apparently.

Still have the link saved apparently cool

I remember hearing of some navy guy who tried to measure the voltage of the blood and such of a human body, so he stabbed himself with the detector he had been given, and then died from his heart stopping because of the electricty
I'm not sure that story's real tho. My electrician uncle said a 9v battery like the one that powered the device in the story can't kill you like that.

Blood is a much better conductor than your skin, and has the added benefit of going directly through the muscle that pumps it around the body.

How long did that take to create?

Stop putting everyrhing into perspective, Baal :P

I will echo depressive episodes following a pattern. If you can recognize he pattern, or perhaps better yet what triggers the pattern, y’all can do something about it, even if it’s just taking the edge off.

I believe electricians are taught the 1-10-100 rule: 1mA you can feel, 10mA will hurt, 100mA will kill you.
