The Chuckle Monster signed his executive order, so you can all argue about that instead.

No, give in to your hate, and together we can rule the galaxy!

... wait that doesn’t seem quite right.

Kill each other so a new order can rise!

I know slugs cause them to vomit. Dogs are not that smart when it comes to eating stuff.

Dogs have the same approach to food as most people do to contemporary art. They may not know what's good, but they know what they like.

My brother told me a story that his dog ate another dog’s shit, and then vomited itnup later that evening.

I am told the smell could not be described as pleasant.

Kirstjen... something or other.

PPE: Kirstjen Nielsen. I've seen a press conference she did recently in which she basically said they're not doing anything wrong because they're just following the law.

So... is there actually a law which says to wrest children away from their families, or is it just this "we can't keep the kids of adults we're prosecuting with the adults" thing?

Why does he need to sign anything to stop it? Isn't it a government policy that they can just decide to, you know, stop?

Also, Jeff Sessions said that comparisons to Nazi concentration camps are exaggerated because the Nazis were stopping the Jews from leaving.

You’d think a lawyer would be able to come up with a better argument, like “at least we aren’t gassing them” or something. /poor taste

So yeah, I think Trunp is basically trying to force the Dems into giving him the money for his wall, ‘cause if they vote against that he’s gonna say they hate kids.

Well, Fortnite is free. That’s tough to compete with, unless what you’re selling is significantly better.

How did the actress do? I like her a lot from her work here in Sweden. Hoping she might get established internationally.

She sounded English, so alright I guess. It’s apparently quite difficult for me to consider the acting when the writing is awful.

And the same isn't true of.... everyone else?

One would hope that after 8 years of being in government they’d have some idea of how to do it :P

In other WTF news, I saw the new Tomb Raider movie. Thoughts on why it’s awful and spoilers below:

Spoiler: long (click to show/hide)

This kinda sorta applies to other job applications too. Don’t just send your CV and application form and expect to hear back.

If they have a deadline for when they’re setting up interviews - and if they haven’t stated explicitly in the job advert not to contact them - call them or e-mail them after that date to follow-up on your application and tell ‘em why you’re the right person for the job. Otherwise, a week or so after you apply you can call and ask when they plan to interview, and remind them again why you’re the best person for them.

Employers like eagerness, man. I know there are some employers who don’t even afford people an interview if they don’t do this.

It’s important to be brief when you contact them and not to pester them. Probably don’t call them more than three times, and if they don’t get back to you by then you gotta move on.

Dude, maybe they just don’t want us to know the truth?

This also makes me consider the phrase “do you think I’m made of money?” in a new light...
