That is a hilarious idea tho, that phasers could be set to something other than stun or kill.  "Set phasers to guilt trip!"  "Set phasers to confuse!"  "Set phasers to toast marshmellows!"

You’ve only been beat by, like, twenty-five years or something

I had that happen once.

Well, I mean, I had my modem presumably fried by lightning presumably striking telephone lines. Made a big bang, which scared the shit out of me at the time since I was playing a stealth game and I was sneaking around Colditz.

Speaking of doubling down, Trump doubled down on the current scandal of the week and gave Sen. Durbin a nickname by.... adding a y to his first name (though his first name is actually Richard and 'Dick' is his nickname sorta).

Wheres the creativity? lol

Well this is the man that responds to “you are <insert negative thing here>!” by saying “I’m the least <insert negative thing here> ever!” so what do you expect? :p

My stepdad is running a propane heater in the basement to keep the pipes from freezing. He also cannot find his carbon monoxide detector.

There are reasonably cheap wires he could buy to do that without the chance of poisoning your family. Home Depot or whatever should have them.

I'm just not a huge fan of food.
Damn breatharian. Too good for our humble victuals?
Way to reach into their mouth and erase their words, unbidden, from existence.

Or something like that, I haven’t yet properly woken.

They are politicians. They have a base they don’t want to alienate, and the troubles are still within living memory for a lot of people on both sides. They need to be seen to do something to appease outsiders without actually really doing anything to appease their base.

Political leadership 101.

Pfft, scrubs.

My weather went from 10 two days back to 50 yesterday back down to 10 today.

Car doors were frozen shut this morning and there was a stupidly thick layer of ice on my back window.

"Why are we having all these people from shithole countries come here?"

Your president, folks.

Also, just answered your own stupid, stupid question, Donald.

You don't know that anxiety?  Of interacting with a business and doing nothing wrong?
No? That seems dumb.
It is dumb. Doesn’t make it any less of a problem. What exactly was the point of that?

I even gave back a dollar once when they gave me too much change,

Wait. Is not stealing from people a commendable thing now? :(

‘T ain’t stealing if they give it to you, bro.

Brett Favre’s first completed pass in the NFL was to himself.

Selfish bastard.

/pointless tangential aside

Playoffs aren’t interesting without the Packers. Least not ‘til February...

Intrigue.

I mean that’s what the seduction focus does... but you do need that specific focus to bed them, I guess.

Alternatively, just bribe ‘em.
