Other Games / Re: Europa Universalis IV
« on: October 30, 2017, 08:25:46 am »
Okay so... EUIV is on sale, but I’m it sure if I want to get it.

How does it compares to EUIII: In Domine, since that’s the only one I’ve really played. Biggest concern being the units you can recruit after Westernising (if that’s still a thing, and specifically how those units compare to the best tech group’s units) and things to do mid- to late-game, since I found myself having not much to do during that period.

Does army composition affect things? EUIII seemed to be “have massive stacks of cavalry for auto win” for a pretty big chunk of the game.

Also what DLC should I get, if any.

I had a thing recently for it, and I’ve been in the country for less than four years. County court though. Been in the county for less than two years. Seems to be an occasional thing. Basically get put on a register for a year and they randomly choose names from it, then those people need to call a number every day to make sure they haven’t been chosen.

The only other time was in the UK while I was in college, so got an exemption.

To be fair Han does say in Episode IV that the computer needs to figure out the hyperspace jump else they might jump through a star.

It would stand to reason that people are likely to take routes they know are safe so as to avoid doing that. While Tatooine is in the outer rim, given it’s position as a point for smugglers to meet, the routes to and from will be well known.

but since you will never have enuff dakka, it is sadly impossible.

False, on both counts! Never is a long time, thus possible, if improbable.

Their "relationship" mostly consisted of the leftover ghost of a hyper powered marital artist using ancient punch magic to force them to fuck for the ghost's amusement.

unintended typo is funny.

Yes, I'm sure there are many places where that's true. That doesn't make one dialect more "correct", however, and when people try to apply pressure to expand that bubble outward it tends to have the opposite effect.

Could you explain the bolded part, please? It doesn't make sense.

Perhaps you could explain it, then.

You sure this is the thread you meant to post on?
I think he was just importing the joke from there. :P

Anyway, I prefer to avoid this issue by just using "sex" exclusively, most of the time. If people want to whine about that that's their problem.

Well, sex is biological, so unless you happen to know which bits they have, you could be using it wrong.

And if you do know everyone's genitalia... well, perhaps you have a problem.

Does it, though? Language changes are quite common throughout history.
It's so far from that simple that I couldn't even begin to explain efficiently. But yes, in sum, yes, these social projects are always doomed.

Which is why the status quo has been maintained since the dawn of civilisation. /the sarcasm is crushing

And neither was the Scottish independence referendum which was more of a reaction to brexit than anything else.

Wrong on a number of levels :P Scot's* have been wanting out since 1707.

David Cameron and Alex Salmond made the Scottish referendum a legally binding one with the Edinburgh agreement before the referendum, so there was some force behind it.

*okay fine, some Scot's

Well... shit.

Stay safe, Catalonia.
