Well that rather strongly hints at another scum player still in the game. From the flavour it also appears like the last one.

Also, Tiruin apparently stole my vote, so that's awesome. Understandable, but still totally awesome.

I'm inclined to see Persus and TDS as Town, Tiruin and flabsy as maybe-probably, Jack a little less so 'cause of their vote on TDS toward D2 end of which I was not a fan; watcher and fracker are, imo, very easy to mix up. Not so sure about Tolyk.

That leaves Tea, and I guess me, 'cause I haven't really done anything.

you're gambling with your money. If you lose with private healthcare you pay a lot upfront, but no matter what happens with nationalized healthcare you pay a moderate amount... forever.

So... what are insurance premiums if not the moderate amount you pay forever?

Not only that, paying those premiums for the privilege of having to pay your deductible prior to the insurance company paying for you? Premiums that they are using to pay people who will pore over your coverage for any reason possible for them to not pay out for your coverage?

I turned 30 last year, which apparently justified a 65% increase in my monthly premium, and that's without prior existing conditions, non-smoking, and very little drinking. So I pay $500/month to not be covered before spending more money than I actually have at any given time ('cause life just likes to eat away at my savings. Thanks life!) and the potential that I won't actually be covered if something unpleasant does actually happen.

I struggle, mightily, to see how that is a better system than being taxed for the privilege of being treated when I need it, without having to fund said treatment by going into debt even before the insurance company decides whether or not to actually pay for me. /angry Scotsman

In the U.K. I didn't seek treatment for things because I felt I'd be taking resources from someone who needed it more. In the US I don't seek treatment because I'm scared of the bill I'd have to pay for it.

Come now, Neo, Trump is such a narcissist I'd be surprised if he didn't commission this.

He'll also blame Time for not having him on the cover exactly like that in the first place because it's obviously not his fault it's fake.

8764
That's what I meant, that how it is on the fake cover (The "Apprentice") shouldn't be like that, which is bizarrely the most annoying thing about it.

8765
Shouldn't it be "The Apprentice" as opposed to The "Apprentice"?

Am I weird for thinking this is actually a pretty good Elder Scrolls game? It seems like everyone just kinda forgot it after Skyrim came out.

You have my ear, citizen.

Prior to getting a 2TB hard drive, almost more than half of the 360GB hard drive I was using was dedicated to Oblivion mods. I burned at least two DVDs full of installers for Oblivion mods.

The biggest problem I could see was the poor voice acting, due to spending 90% of their voice actor budget on one guy who gets 10 minutes screentime. Seriously, why couldn't they re-hire that guy who did the intro for Daggerfall?

Hey man, Sean Bean is a pretty major character in this.

His performance isn't all that great though... Hieronymus Lex, on the other hand, is awesome.

Nah, Bernie's wife is being investigated for bank fraud.

Who knows, though; that might even make him more popular, his SO fucking over the banks.

I enjoyed it, but it was my first Elder Scrolls game so...

Makes me more inclined to believe Lenglon is a survivor or otherwise benign third-party, beyond that nothing except they're all Communists.

Tolyk not having used their vote for almost the entire game is bothersome for me, the vote is a townie's voice, so it implies to me they have some other means of achieving their wincon, whatever it may be. I'm inclined to think they may also be benign third-party.

Jack and Tiruin seem to derive some entertainment from breaking games wide open, so the former's tacit approval and the latter's attempts to logic their way through it maybe aren't all that telling.

Flabort kinda bothers me, but that's for things outside of the everybody wins stuff, like the "Monster Within" ability claim.

I imagine so, yes. Seems like an odd question to ask shortly before the deadline.

I think I got Dear Esther for free, and it probably wasn't worth it.

A less-than-politically-correct civil rights movement/protest simulator. Starting in 1910, 1930, 1955, or 1965 you are [an advocate for women's rights|disgusted with the government's treatment of the new recession|unhappy with the way black people are treated|annoyed with the government's involvement in Vietnam] and you want to bring about change. How do you do it? Do you lead peaceful protests and marches, write letters, and give speeches? Will you exert political influence to get people sympathetic to your cause elected? Will you lead a violent insurrection? Or will you embrace separatism and lead your oppressed/dissatisfied people elsewhere?

Well... there's LCS, that's the closest I can think of.

Perhaps the issue is the games are too big? Waiting for 7 new players to pop along all at once is the problem.

Probably because they have the time when they in, but they don't when the game starts later than they expected.

I think part of the issue is we usually have a few vets in the game, and they tend to be a bit...  unaccommodating to lack of experience.
