The j is pronounced as an h.

The drink is not as pleasant as others suggest, though. Certainly not worth going to Taco Bell, anyway...

Oh I forgot about G'fish.

Ah well, at least the scum were of the four people I was willing to vote for. Evidently my suspicions that OSG was bussing an inactive partner was correct :o

OSG and one of Hapah or TBF 4 scum.

Well then.

Doesn't seem as though folks are all that interested in continuing. I'm happy to go on, but not so much if I'll be the only one playing.

I went to ask a discord if it would be not a horrible idea to open commissions for making mods for dwarf fortress and... nobody answered at all.

Maybe I should ask here. Should I?

It might be wise to ask Toady. You would be makin' pennies off the back of his work, and he's offering a free product.

I would personally suggest against it 'cause of that, but I'm not the one making it so... yeah.

He gave his blessing before I went and started taking donations for my mod.

Donations aren't the same as commissions, though. You're not expecting to be paid for the former.

Playing GTA San Andreas, 'cause it's the best one, on PS4.

Not used to old-school controls in which the X button is accelerate and Square is brake.

Doing one of the early missions in which the game teaches you how to spray over enemy gangs' graffiti tags, it tells you to spray enemy gang member in face. Police see, I get one star. I shoot police officers, get two stars (I believe that two wanted stars are permanent, you need to spray your car or collect something to get rid of them) and then bug out 'cause I can't remember how to shoot and run out of bullets.

Spray over the remaining tags for the mission while dodging bullets, then my character's brother pulls up in a car. I get in, hold R2 (the look right button) and wonder why the car doesn't move, thinking it's a cut scene as the police arrest me.

Spoiler (click to show/hide)

I was going to say that I don't get special gifts from my employer, but I do. I just don't get to choose 'em, so far as I'm aware.

Got a nice pen and various things for my car for Easter.

If that supermarket is anything like the one I worked at, there's always a discrepancy.

Then again, perhaps less of an issue with self-service machines, unless the person counting the money at day end or when they put more money in makes a mistake.

Trump has said he thinks his daughter is attractive. Maybe he'll divorce Melanie and keep the bloodline pure.

What contributions has Hapah made so far?

What has Lenglon done that was a slip? Why is it a scumslip? Is it solely something that will further the game for scum?
Hepah has made comments and reads of all the players that were playing with him at the time, even though he is also guilty of a few minor scumslips along the way.

Lenglon's slip is his tunneling of Hepah. Day 1, he was ignoring any other possible suspect (until day end forced him to make a change) Tunneling makes your chance of finding scum about a 2/9 chance (if you are a townie) while it makes finding a townie 100% (If you are scum)
time to be direct again:
OSG - if all everyone does is sit back and wait for someone else to slip, you get literally zero posts. zero activity. if you limit yourself to ONLY targeting scumslips, you'll almost never do anything at all, and overall are not helpful to the town.

That's what RVS is for. Getting people to talk, askiong questions hopefully pertinent to the game, and seeing if someone will slip.

Is it tunneling when the first thing you present your case prior to interaction?

What minor scumslips has Hapah made?

I'll be frank here and say you're not convincing me of your towniness. I'll ponder upon why that might be for a while.

Not a fan of your maths there, either. Scum is 100% going after Town unless they can gain a lot of Towncred from bussing their partner, which is super risky. Tunneling isn't inherently bad as Town (just 'cause you interact mostly with one person does not mean you're ignoring everyone else) though it's not ideal either. Everyone's chance of finding scum is 2/9 from a statistical POV.

I'm unlikely to get much activity today, there's a small party and we'll be entertaining friends later.

What would doing that achieve, though? He's been essentially quarantined in a room in an embassy for years, and Wikileaks churns on.

How do you know when you've found a slip?
