There appears to only be 6 folks in the game according to the OP, how does that change the role composition?

What happened to Shirly Shrekly Shkreli to cause this kind of rant?
Numerous pharmaceutical companies are using him as a high profile scapegoat to divert attention from the fact that they jack up their prices by ridiculous amounts all the time, too.

You do find it very hard to be sorry for the man that cornered the market for a niche life-saving drug and increased the price by several thousand percent. Even if he is being criticized by people doing the same.

Heck, maybe Trump is just treating the presidency like those involved in high-powered business treat PR. Fackin' Brillo pads.

From that second link:

Trump said Langer described voters around him in line who did not look if they should be allowed to vote but were permitted to cast provisional ballots.

What does a legitimate voter look like?

Well, in several states it is somebody who can produce government issued ID proving they are who they say they are.  In one case relayed by my father (who occasionally volunteered as a poll watcher), it means not being super shifty and muttering about how you had never done this before.

Just because you look shifty doesn't mean you're not a legitimate voter. Can you tell if someone is a legitimate voter just by looking at them?

Okay, story time.  When I was about 8 my father came home from being a poll watcher.  He relayed to my mother while I was in the room that he had stopped two people from double voting.  They apparently had voted absentee and were also trying to vote in person.  I honestly don't even know if I am remembering things correctly and have no more details.

Cool story. That's why there are poll watchers.

Did you figure all these out 'cause of CKII?

Retired from writing web-comics, sure.
Not cooking. That's the other, other guy.

The ski-jumper was the other-other guy. I thought you meant the cook.
I thought the ski-jumper was just the other guy?
Is there another guy? Does that make the cook the other-other-other guy then?
I Googled the name and the cook was the pictured dude and the first couple of results.

I went to Wikipedia and found the ski-jumper.

Maybe the webcomic dude is the other-other-other guy.

Having worked night-shift for two years at Sainsburys and read Private Eye during my breaks, I probably should have known that.

I'll blame it on the fact it's fortnightly.

E:I have this song stuck in my head...and I just wonder, is there anyone who even can fix me anymore?  Let alone whether I have anywhere I can really call home compared to just a place to rest my head.

What makes you think you're broken, and what makes you think you can't fix yourself?
It's maybe not even that I'm broken now, it's that there's no-one I can really turn to if I do break.
Worse comes to worst, there's always here. Not ideal, but it's better than nothing.

Anyhow, you didn't answer the questions :p
That was my answer to the first one, really.

But the second one, I've never been able to fix myself before.

I could be quite cynical regarding that answer, but I won't 'cause that would be massively counter-intuitive. I'm also very tired which is probably colouring my mind-set at this point :))

Anyhow, you're the only one who is able to fix yourself, to be perfectly honest. It doesn't matter how much advice and time and unconditional positive regard you receive from others if you don't genuinely want to be "fixed" (I have great distaste for the manner in which (I think) you are using the terms "broken" and "fixed", but don't really want to address that because it means trying to change someone's mind over the internet, and aforementioned tiredness levels prevent me mustering up the motivation for that right now) so... I guess knowing and accepting that is the first step to being able to do it in the future, whether or not it has happened in the past.

Why have I never considered working for a bank before? Great hours and decent pay for an entry-level position.

I've never liked banks, I guess that's why... being charged £30 for going overdrawn 27p will probably be a major gripe I have for the rest of my life. Ah well. The joys of having to get a job.

I wish Donald Trump would come to my house and snap my neck, killing me instantly

Tweet him calling him a bad name, I'm sure he'll send someone round.

Or make you question the intelligence of American voters, whatever.

Which start is it you're doing?

I did an 869 start, and essentially ate Khiva from inside like a cancer, getting claims on vassals to get duchies and building up castles in Bukhara, so I had a pretty significant income and personal levies, and had maxed out my personal demesne holdings and was probably pushing the vassal limit as a duke.

It took 2 centuries to get independent (during which time Khiva managed to get Turkestan and another kingdom title I can't quite remember the name of) and then take Khiva, after which time I started building up the castles in the capital of the duchy that Bukhara is in, as well as the other two counties in the duchy.

I don't remember having too much trouble with the Muslims, but I think they had a couple of losses to decadence revolts, and were dealing with some Crusades so they left me more or less alone. Either that or I had pretty good armies by that point... I generally stayed on good terms with the bigger entities around me though, using my councilor to improve relations 'til I could get a marriage alliance out of it. I usually tried getting betrothals to their heir, as then you didn't have to worry too much for 2 generations. At least 'too they grew up and got titles of their own...

Anyway, the Mongols came along and subjugated me, but it's easy enough to surrender to them after a bit, and they were all warred out after about 40 years. They even converted to Catholicism, allowing me to holy war them for the last few duchies I needed to create the Persian Empire.

I agree with Rift though, the nomad provinces are more trouble than they're worth, and if you have vassal dukes (I was pushing my vassal limit with them almost constantly until I became an empire) they'll probably expand that way anyway, which keeps them busy.

You might have issues with the Indians too, I had problems with an expansionist group, and eventually India was left with 2 empires who could field about 60k troops each.
