The US has never had a dictator, unless you count Abraham Lincoln, which would be a stretch. There's nothing about Trump's presidency that suggests that will change. Bush II had Republican control of both houses of Congress for most of his tenure, after all. I suspect that the history of your own country is coloring your perceptions.

Trump has said, and I know that it doesn't have much weight, coming from Trump, but he said that "We're going to 'open up' libel laws", so that he could have an easier time suing news organizations.

It's entirely consistent with his pre-election rhetoric to start pushing for real censorship.

There are no federal defamation laws though.

Unless he makes one.

No, hangovers are awful, 100% of the time.

I was awake for four hours because of a hangover last Wednesday. During that four hours I was unable to eat, barely had any fluid, and it was all for naught since I threw up anyway :p the fluid merely made it so that I wasn't throwing up solely stomach acid.

I don't tend to go on multi-day benders, but I do tend to go through long periods of drinking very, very lightly then having one instance of excess and then regret it for weeks, before that cycle starts again. I so tend to stick to lager, so yeah...

Why would you ever pour alcohol away? Such a waste.
