Oh just me RPing an insane dictator in DF. Executing (well, trying to execute and failing) all previous leaders...Devoting all resources towards building a throne room/execution chamber. Exiling the dwarves I don't like to the caverns, moving the trade depot and building tons of confusing tunnels to nowhere.

On the brigt side, I've moved most of the fortress underground, and am working on an execution shaft to drop gonlins or dwarves merchants who never get suspicious when the caravans keep dying.

That kind of stuff.

I don't know about the "turn hellcannon into an unnavigable mess" thing. Intentional sabotage isn't fun, unless its so audacious or awesome that you can't help but laugh. (like fail lever)

I really hope that hell is drained of magma by the time its my turn. I have BIG plans for it.

Hint: It involves lever pulling, magma, clown !!SCIENCE, burning kittens, and things dying.

Yep, basically what the title says; I'm working at a magma smelter, have access to marble and like two or three other flux stones, and have about 30 bars of coke available, as well as a dozen iron bars from melted down goblinite, yet the smelter keeps insisting I need fuel. Despite the fact that the smelter has access to magma.

Clown-Cat-Crundle-Zombie Hybrids wearing artifact cloakings of burning spun artifact lignite wading through water that's boiling from their body temperature causing chain reactions in upper levels of the fortress that result in cave-ins falling into the magma sea and generating magma mist.

To a Dwarf, I'd say its an opportunity.

Lots and lots of treasure, enough supplies lying around to last forever? If only dwarves were smarter, it could easily become a wonderful place (for a dwarf) to live. Then again, if we ever reached a point where we get messages like "Urist McDwarf cancels Pull Lever Dropping Drawbridge on head/mine out load bearing column/demolish door holding back thousands of tons of water, not that bloody stupid", I would say it would be time to prepare for the inevitable AI uprising.
