DF Modding / Re: About the Bogeymen, Gentlemen.

Bogeymen are easy, I killed one of them, NAKED, only wielding a sharpened limestone rock, and crippled the other four, before they got a lucky shot and mobbed me. You can bloody SCRATCH their god damn limbs off! They're skinnier then twigs!
Fear the night, indeed!

Perhaps one day in adventure mode, we'll be able to make a home, start farming, grab a wife from a nearby village and make childeren..
Play as the child, kill parents, then get kidnapped by a kobold and then get..
Ugh. Okay, maybe not. But it still sounds epic.

Dilol Scribelock the Wayward Thorns of Warding. It took a while of digging through legends in historical people, but it was worth it. It's such an epic name.

May I suggest a sort of eternally cursed dwarf, with very low agility, and mental abilities, low recuperation, but fairly high endurance, strength, disease resistance, etc. Also, NO PAIN! :p Maybe with really tough skin.
So basically, tanks for your military who are slow gits who pack a punch, who you dress in your best armour.

Leading a huge army against a megabeast only to be ambushed by a dozen elves and ripped to shreds.

This would be amazing during adventure mode. I bet I could hear how well my group would be fighting against a megabeast just because of the cries of pain and deep grunts of the megabeast I would hear.

My great adventurer just came back from a long campaign against many great beasts of the land. I decided to retire him in a fort so he could defend it. Maybe one day I will go and strangle him and gourge his eyes out and play him again..
Yes... :)

Does your adventurer slowly grow weaker as old age kicks in, or is he/she standing upright on his feet dancing and then suddenly on the ground dead?

I wonder if adventurers could survive on only a supply of roasted kobold limbs and sweet, sweet blood..

When faced with an enemy with limbs which are hard to cut off, cut off the eyes and run around it throwing stones at close range.
