anything larger than a pocket world takes ages to advance in years. The 2 week calender on embark takes like a minute. there a way i can make my computer direct more processing power at df?

would you play it? i've gathered a team to finally make the roguelike i've been putting off designing. Need to gauge interest. trying to make something like adventure mode in DF if it was the main focus of the game (no procedural world history, though.) how do you think an indiegogo campaign would fare?

Like a couple months back there was a thread on a game, it's kinda like DnD simulator, you make a party, and it's pretty fun and stuff, there were 3 races, elf, human, and dwarf which basically determined character speed. I'm very tired and I can't think straight right now so sorry if it's a bit vague

What's a good language to write it in? Are there any good guides? I'm not gonna even think about making the next indie-smash hit Spelunky-BoI hit, but I'd like some comprehensive guides that explain what I'm doing and why it's being done and how it works. What would be a good language to use, also?

today my desktop decided it would be cool to start autoshutting off. its not hardware as safemode prevents it. any ideas? virus?
