I added the tag and now I have dog bone carvers... does that also make their fighting skills level up to?

a bunch of untrained dwarves with 300 stones every embark(they work till they die, and build all the graves for their former workers). right now there is an island with dwarves only access and an island close by with snakes elves and other races. the bridge is moving forwards!

I was wondering if a nice big bridge/highway that connects all my bodies of land increase my contact with other races and cultures. I have already started a test but I was curious if anyone knew.
