I generally like bigger worlds more for adventure mode, the rest of the settings seems fine tho. You might want to increase the titan count in advanced parameters (if that is even possible) as that would mean more interesting stuff to kill (i find night creatures rather boring, too).

Yeah, a ranged goblin normally has 35 arrows/bolts iirc. I doubt the layers of fortifications do a good job at stopping arrows tho, but don't take my word for it.

First question: The only way you could achieve this is by adding everyone but the medical staff to another burrow that doesn't contain the stockpiles for your doctors.
Second question: As long as you don't use the doctors to recover patients from the battle field it shouldn't mess things up. I usually just settle for having the doctors living quarters near the hospital and turning off their other labors, but the burrow solution might stop them from running off to party.

Use the still unfrozen water to muddy some ground for an underground farm, start planting everything you have and make sure it is turned into booze (you will need barrels which can be made most easily from wood) before any dwarf eats the plants. Any water that is underground will also not freeze so you can make a cistern and fill it by connecting it to a river or a murky pool with a floodgate or pressure equalizer. Put a well above your reservoir and the dwarfs will even get a happy thought from getting water there. But really the first priority should be to get your farms running as sober dwarfs work much slower than drunk ones.

From my limited experience it seems like the demons are confined to the site your embark becomes after abandoning. I would find all demons that were alive when my fort crumbled still inside the fortress.

It can't go through walls, so i suggest you plug up any holes with walls/floors asap. If you can't lock it out i suggest to just draft all your dwarfs into the military and station them at a point where it has to pass through. A legendary miner with a copper pick can beat a weaker forgotten beast easily if there's 20 other dwarfs wrestling and biting it. If it has a dangerous special attack (fire breath, deadly vapours, etc) you're probably screwed.

Yeah you can collapse a big pillar into a reservoir you need to dig out and fill beforehand (as the floor of the magma sea eats cave ins). This works because fluid is teleported on top of anything that caves in on it.

You can add two or three steel caps and a leather hood. The advantage of the leather items seems to be small but significant enough to make dwarfs equipped additionally with them repeatedly beat dwarfs without them in arena.

What do you mean by 'disabling'? If you mean turning all pet_exotic tags into pet tags, then that's enough to make the animals breed. In unmodded df exotic animals will not breed even if you buy them tamed from the caravan afaik.

Yeah, if you fill the whole queue of your stonecrafters shop with make stone crafts/r (repeat on for every of the 10 orders), that will stop the manager from adding orders to it. I forgot about that trick.

Sadly what you want is a feature that is currently not in the game. All i can tell you is that you will have to manually order the bone bolts from other workshops.

That would only make nerves that are bruised or anything heal, but since nerves taking cut damage either are severed (=won't heal even with healing rate added to nerve tissue) or fine, it doesn't do much. You can remove the has_nerves tag from dwarfs tho, that will stop nerve damage problems, supposedly without side effects.
