Well, I couldn't catch up to the end of the list. That's because I JUST GOT ADOBE ILLUSTRATOR ON MY COMPUTER! WOO!

Hence the sudden change of style.
Act I: The Dragon Egg
Scene I

You know you need to eat, but you simply can't go around with this egg goop all over your scales! It'd be like running around naked, except that being a dragon, you always run around naked. At this point the analogy falls apart. At any rate, what you need is a nice tongue bath. Wait a minute...

That egg goop tastes supremely edible. And there's the rest of the egg just sitting there! With your inexplicable knowledge of biology and chemistry, you know that this eggshell is primarily composed of calcium carbonate, which, incidentally, is a what chalk is made of. What better way to earn your self-bestowed title! You take a couple bites. Not to bad at all. You still leave some, because the chalk-to-nutrients ratio is sadly low. As a thoughtful gesture, you write out a little review of the joint in case some other creature of the chalk-eating persuasion happens by.

'3/5 stars. Would eat here again. Service leaves much to be desired, but food is good' you scratch out in a language that is certainly Draconic, and not a simple cypher of the English alphabet. In fact, you're slightly offended that anyone would think so!
Action List:
Forage for food and water.
Try to fly.

Things to Decide:
What do you do now?

Stats:
Hungry

----------------------------------

If anyone has thoughts, suggestions, comments, etc. on the art or writing, I'd love to hear them! I'd like to figure out what looks good, and I'm bad at judging my own stuff.

Knock at the door- if we fail to receive an invitation to enter, then either open the door or batter it down.

And keep one of the shields!

We can be Captain America. Fisticuffs and a shield. Oh, and THIS.
Blasphemy. He's obviously Captain Scotland.

YOU EAT THAT EGG THIS INSTANT

Oh, and have some fan art. I like the game so far.

Spoiler: Cracking the Shell (click to show/hide)
I FEEL INFERIOR

But seriously, that's awesome!

Nominee: Don't Trust The Rainbow Snail.

Could someone write a little blurb on these? I haven't read them, but a cursory skimming showed it to be deserving of a nomination.

Is there a category for RTDs as well? The last attempts at this included one, as far as I can remember.
D'oh, I forgot about those. I'll fix that now.

Looks like Elves of Amanereli may soon have the honor of being the first inductee to the Hall!

(If I can)

VOTE !
Vote!
Quote!

By which I mean, please add the quote involving the name of the game you're voting for.

I nominate Adventure Guy. It develops from the archetypal illustrated forum game to a more complex story that addresses morality, free will, and what it means to be human. Plus it has some great theme music and is the only illustrated suggestion game to ever finish on these boards.

I VOTE FOR THIS.

Tallies:
They Told Me I Could be Anything --- 3/10
Adventure Guy --- 5/10
You Are Minifig --- 2/10

Nominee: Adventure Guy
Nominee: You Are Minifig

And finally, I nominate Elves of Amanereli: An epic of weedy tree-huggers out to trade with the dwarves. Beautifully illustrated, with extra dead elf.

Nominee: Elves of Amanereli

I nominate E:EAP

Best DnD game I read.
Could you please provide a link?

Okay, that works. Is everyone available this coming Saturday, at 8:00 PM GMT for a session? It won't be part of any campaign we may do, it'll just be a sample adventure so everyone can get the hang of how stuff works.

I noticed that we don't have one of these on this board. While the Hall of Legends thread in the Community Games and Stories board had a few items listed for forum games, they didn't cover too many of them. There are several other really great games here that I think deserve this sort of recognition, and, with that in mind, I present to you...

||| The Hall of Legends |||
Forum Game Edition

Qualifications:
In order to enter the Hall of Legends, a game must be nominated and receive ten votes from members of the forum. In order to be nominated, you just have to type a little blurb on the game that show's that it's interesting or well-loved enough to be worth reading through even if you didn't play in it. Plot typically is a must-have, since new readers have to be able to understand why the game is interesting; as a rule of thumb, if the game has a lot of inside jokes that only the players will get, it probably doesn't fit here. If the game is really hard to follow for people who didn't play it, it probably doesn't belong here. When nominating a game, post your nomination in bold, so I can tell you're serious.

Nominating Games:
When nominating a candidate, please type up a little summary of the game and post a link for other readers to peruse. Please do not nominate your own games, because, epic though they may be, it's evident that you may be a tad biased towards your own game.

Voting:
After a game has been nominated and the nomination has been accepted, a post will be made by me stating that the game in question is up for voting. If you think the game deserves to be put here, quote the entire post that I make and put your vote for it in bold, so I know you're being assertive. Be sure to only vote once for each game, or Big Brother will know you're cheating. Finally, please only vote for games that actually are good enough to be posted; while your friends might have games going, don't be compelled to vote for them if they aren't up to scratch (and by 'up to scratch', I actually mean 'totally awesome').

Removing Games from the List:
If you think a game does not deserve to be here, but was put up anyway, it takes ten votes against the game to remove it. Similar to nominating games, be sure to post your removal proposal in bold, so I know you dislike that game. Also be sure to write a couple sentences to a paragraph on why exactly the game doesn't deserve it's illustrious position here.

Categories:
The Hall of Legends is organized into a set of categories similar to the Forum Game List. When nominating a game, be sure to include which category it should go in.

Suggestion Adventures

Text:

Elves of Amanereli:
Status - Ongoing  ::  Link

The timeless epic of an elven caravan. Set upon reaching a distant dwarven fortress, the titular elves begin the long journey through dangerous lands.  Complete with beautiful illustrations by DarkerDark, the caravan fights through elephants, frogmen, titans, and encounters one brave turtle with their cargo of more elephants, hypocritical wooden products, and, of course, textiles of the rope reed variety. Will they make it to their destination alive? That remains up to the characters. Includes elephants stoned out of their minds, lots of dead elves, and a snazzy piece of reptilian headgear.

Does everyone think we should just have independent sessions (that is, no campaign)? Or should we try a full campaign?

I've seen you around, but I don't recall actually interacting. That's probably me just forgetting everything that hasn't happened in the last half hour or so, though.

Could I get The Dragon added to the list? The name is different in the thread, but only because it's going to change periodically.

As for the type of game, it would fall under the category 'Illustrated Suggestion Adventure'.

I'm still really slow at drawing with my pen-tablet-USB-plugin-thingy, so I wasn't able to get through all of the actions yet. I just wanted to get up what I had before the end of the day, so here it is. Hopefully I'll be able to catch up with actions in the next update.

Act I: The Dragon Egg
Scene I

Being as hungry as you are, you decide that this brown stuff you're standing on would be quite a meal. You tentatively bite into it.

Bluh!

Disgusting. Really, though; even a little hatchling like you should have known that the loam you just bit into contains clay particles that bind with various nutrients, rendering them inaccessible by plants and animals for long periods of time, sillyhead!

You decide to head east due to your explorative spirit. Unfortunately, you don't know how to find out which direction is east. Seriously, who knows how to do that? Nobody, that's who!

Action List:
Eat egg.
Forage.
Be adorable.
Try to fly.
Clean egg off of scales.

Things to Decide:
What do you do now?

Stats:
Hungry
Bad Taste in Mouth
