There are broken - maybe it is really trait feature, but in that case doctors should display sth else than "No job". "On break" or even special thing for doctors. Without this doctors are broken.

maps are made in ways to reduce distortion - it is impossible to keep accurate area, shape etc in the same type of map projection [ http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Map_projection#Choosing_a_model_for_the_shape_of_the_Earth ].

EDIT: from enwiki: NOTE: Because the sphere is not a developable surface, it is impossible to construct a map projection that is both equal-area and conformal.

You will never lose your fort.  Even if everyone is slaughtered, their corpses rotting in the sun while your fort gurgles in the magma of its broken traps, like a dying animal poisoned by its own ruptured intestines, there will still be one survivor, and there will still be migrants.

And how to open DF for larger audience? Just fix interface. But for me it is not so terrible*, and the Toady is getting donations, no me.

*IMHO the new ribbon interface in microsoft office is worse than DF interface.

so true. economy is my pet peeve
The current economy isn't a bug. It just sucks. Adding a proper economy is what the Caravan Arc is.
There is no thing like economy - there was and in .18 is removed (not due to bugs, design was bad)

My game just went from about 80 FPs to constant stuttering. It runs smooth for a few seconds, then just stops completely.


Any ideas as to what could be causing this?
