The next turn is in production, but has been delayed due to Matthew.

Samson scratches his head as he starts heading back to the transport hub.
I suppose the quality is notable... just not how I'd like.
Samson starts heading back to the ship

Samson looks over the Bazaar, and after not finding what he's after, makes his way back to the teleportation hub. The trip is without incident, and the last thing Samson sees is the guide he conversed with earlier casually waving at him. In a flash of light, he is back in the Teleportation Room of the ship.

Mega didn't jump so mch as her jaw dropped and she froze for a moment; ninetheless, she eventually shook herself off. "Well, uh, I'll keep him in mind, but I just got a bit of extra cash thanks to the robot gun guy, so I'm gonna go spend it on something nice."
Mega went and did what she had planned to do.
Charlotte still looks awed a she follows Mega.
"Oh my...."

Mega and Charlotte walk past Obchodnik's Obstravaganza and continue onto the Teleportation Room, a surefire way to get them to the Light Head Armor they so desire. Mega, typing the keyword into of the cylindrical modules in the area, comes up with the following top results:

Taite Cothron - A state dominated by fields/plains/flat lands/whatever you want to call boring, agriculture-friendly space. Technology has remained in the medieval stage for hundreds of years due to influences of religious and magical institutions, leading to a conservative populace. For anyone seeking Western medieval-era armor, this is your go-to place.

Conflict Zone 87 - Stripped of any formal title, this region was punished for a forgotten transgression that occurred centuries ago. This led to a handful of large countries surrounding the region that would become Conflict Zone 87 with artificial mountains, followed by bombarding the area with psychoactive agents that made its inhabitants highly belligerent, territorial and stratified. Within the ocnfines of Conflict Zone 87, nations rise and fall, groups blossom and then splinter. Everything ranging from despotic tribes to technocracies appear and disappear at an alarming rate. All efforts by outside parties to stop perpetual internal warfare have failed, rejected by the inhabitants inside, oftentimes violently. Now it is seen as a social experiment and tourist attraction by outsiders, with anthropologists, historians and socialites all flocking to see what a state in non-ending civil war looks like.
With the parties of Conflict Zone 87 locked in an arms race, finding weaponry or armoring will not be a difficult task.

The Impenetrable Fortress - An island city-state that bills itself as the most orderly and well-protected place in the U.S. Under a strict military dictatorship, every move, action and conversation is monitored by the state in explicit and implicit means. Soldiers patrol every street and all surfaces and screens are blanketed in P.D.C.U. propaganda. (P.D.C.U. being the official name of the city-state, "The People's Democratic Coalition of Unity", though most refer to it as The Impenetrable Fortress, or just The Fortress.) Despite what outsiders might see as an oppressive system, the P.D.C.U. government boasts that regular census report an extremely high civilian satisfaction rating with their life and nation.
As you might expect from a militaristic society, The Fortress specializes in cutting-edge military technologies, one of its major exports to other states.

Surprise my virtual opponents by charging them at a full gallop, laying down suppressive fire until I can get in melee range.

Nixil turns on the offensive, leaping over the rocky outcropping in a single bound and galloping at the squadron, spraying shoots from his Shredder at the enemy party. [1 vs. 2] This fails to put fear in the humans as they barely move while blasts from Nixil's weapon dissipate into the rock surroundings. The Andalite continues to get shot at as he gets into melee range, [10 vs. 1] and takes a Dracon plasma blast to the side of the head.

His perspective suddenly becomes third person, as he watches the humans surrounding his corpse, his brain matter oozing from his temple and his eyes staring into the sky while his own view begins to pull away upwards like the camera at the end of a movie.

SIMULATION FAILED
ENEMY CASUALTIES: 1

this is odd. Search around for signs of life or a store. The warp wouldn't be around if there was nobody here for so long.

Bastion walks along the roads of the lifeless city, black rain falling on his head. Despite the presence of activity, nothing appears to be worn down or dilapidated, so someone or something must be keeping maintenance of the city. There are no stores or buildings of service on Bastion's route, and the only difference is the slight variance in the size and shape of the apartment-style buildings that are lit up with no one inside. It's monotonous, but it's not some sort of loop because in the distance Bastion sees that the road eventually ends at a large body of water, as gray as the sky above, and with each block he gets closer and closer to it, though not by much.

Eventually, a robot the size of an average dog rounds the corner. It is travelling on treads, box-sized, with two proportional arms and two blue optical receptors on top. It stops motionless for a few seconds before scanning Bastion. It communicates with him through a wireless A.I.-to-A.I. system. "You look like a human, but you are not. You are not any sort of person. There are no people in the Federation. Only us, the Synchs. There have been no people here for a long time."

((I don't know if Bastion has scent receptors, but if he does then he picks up that the whole city smells like a mixture of sulfur, feces and rotting fruit, despite the absence of any source.))

Anna and Cadence are presumably heading for the simulator.
Indeed they are.

Anna and Cadence reach the Training Facility, and indeed towards the back there are a series of humanoid sparring dummies and less-humanoid striking bags, as well as a boxing ring. Near the dummies is a rack of training rubberized weapons, ranging from daggers and fighting sticks to spears and hammers. In the vicinity are also doorways leading to the Target Room and Virtual Reality Center.

I'm Here To Ask About Getting Some Training, or Procuring Some Enchanted Objects For my use. I Could Attempt to Batter down this place with magic, but I Think it would be easier on all involved if I didn't.

"It would be easier if you didn't attack us, because none of us would like to clean the mess up that you would leave behind if we set our freshman students to vaporize you. But I appreciate your arrogance, it is an important trait in an aspiring wizard! We provide both training and magical charms to those that can prove they have the heart, mind, and soul worthy of Hardbark Univesity, the qualities that our founder Gamson Jello Hardback pined for in every promising student!"

Vi at one point ended up in the library again. Primarily searching for historical documentation on Miasma or similar.

Vi scans the labyrinthine bookshelves for historical documentation on the Miasma, narrowing subjects down from Metaphysics to Unexplained Phenomena, until she reaches the section on the Miasma which contains half a shelf in its own right with hundreds of books ranging from "An Empirical Analysis Of Miasma, Volume 17" to "The Inevitability of Miasma: How We Can Cope With the Foretold End of the Multiverse." With an overflow of options, Vi picks one out at random, "A Historical Compendium of the Misama and Its Accompanying Phenomenae: Volume 1."

...universally agreed that the Miasma appeared in prehistorical times, thus making the date of its origin unknown, and whether or not it has a specific origin is still heavily debated in academia and the scientific community. Some even promote the so-called "Miasmal Divergence" Theory, proclaiming that at an unspecified time in prehistory, a single existing universe was altered an infinite amount of times and replicated by differing Anomalies, thus resulting in the Multiverse itself, although there is little backing evidence for this theory. Further...

...Sorry, but what was going on again? -_-;

At this point for organizational sake, I'll put you back in the mansion with Execute and Fallacy, who are preparing everyone in the mansion for a fight with a Franconian Army Battalion on the front lawn.

Samson would be on the look out for places selling defensive measures or animals. He'd aslo keep an eye out for interesting knicknacks and jewlery.

Sampson explores the market and sees that items for "defense" here are low grade but plentiful: blades, blunt instruments, firearms and gunpowder explosives galore, though nothing more fancy or advanced than a laser scope or a retractable edge. As for animals, there are camels and donkeys/burros for sale, coming in both pack and "battle" forms of each species. There are a variety of odds and ends throughout the Bazaar, things that are claimed to give the wearer attributes like immunity to disease, unlimited bravery and irresitability to the opposite sex, at least that's according to their respective merchants.

"Thanks."
I Head out and begin walking to the East.

Zingelborg exits the tower and walks along the cobblestone road to the East until he comes across a castle at the front of a forboding forest, the words "HARDBARK UNIVERSITY OF MAGIC AND ASSORTED WIZARDY" printed over its massive metal gate at the front. A single man in robes and a floppy hat stand upon the guard parapets above the gate, shouting at Zingleborg and pointing a blue crystal ornament attached to the end of a wooden staff at The Mage, "You there! What business do you have at the mighty Hardbark University?"

Nixil attempts to find cover, and carefully takes aim at the nearest enemy, taking carefully aimed shots.

Nixil gets behind the outcropping and peeks out of the side enough so that he can aim down his sights at the nearest Yeerk-vessel. [6 vs. 2] The Andalite shoots one in the back, stunning him and dropping him to the ground with a searing hole in the shirt while the other humans take notice. [2 vs. 9] Nixil gets back behind the rock as shots rain against its surface, most of them failing to hit anywhere near him or just dispatting on the surface of the outcropping.

"I want big big big beast, very big and very strong and very killer. Bigger beast, bigger cash."
Ulibossk takes out another wad of $100, and waves it, to illustrate his point.

"Yu gimmeh de beeg bucks en ah, well, yu knaw how dat sayin go, ahehe." The Calhounian hikes up his bag and walks deeper into the swamp, "Yu bess wanna stick close tah me buwoy, nevah knaw what ya gunna fine' deep en eer!" The swamp gets deep enough that the water begins to come up to Ulibossk's ankles. The guide points to the entrance of a cavern half-sunken into the lake nearby, "Truss meh, yull fine sometin reel beg and scurry down thar. Nu gimme mah deegits," he says, holding out his hand and gesturing for his payment.

Head down to the warp room, and attempt to get transport to the federation.

Based on previous evidence, Bastion heads into the Warp Room and searches a module for the Ulookam Federation. When the results turn up positive, he launches the machine...

Bastion reappears in a dimly lit outdoor area with heavy rain, not even in a room, simply just an area with roofing to protect him from the elements while a cluster of dilapidated teleportation modules hum next to him. It appears he's on a street corner at the middle of an intersection of roads, colorless against a clouded sky weeping with rain, resulting in an environment that cast little light. All around him were large structures with many windows, yet they seemed to be abandoned and lifeless, and there was not a single other soul in the street. It was as if a huge metropolitan city had been evacuated of its entire populace in one day.

Zara searches for a way to head to... wherever the shops are. Once there, she'd attempt to find a shop selling items that are magical in nature, specifically trying to find something that would boost her magic abilities.
Mega decides she needs to actually buy stuff, and searches for Light Head Armor
Charlotte joins Mega in searching for armor.

As Mega and Charlotte go on their Super Exciting Radical Adventure For Armor Necessary For Prolonged Survival (and Zara looking for the coveted magical shop), a section of the wall in the ship that they are passing suddenly evaporates, as if it were sucked up by a black hole; it would not be shameful for either of them to jump at such an ad hoc creation of space. In the space where there once was wall is now a large see-through pane of glass-like material that allows them both to see a variety of goods on the opposite side, and if they look closely they can see further walls of equipment and items in the back. There is a small gap in the glass-wall about the size of a three-foot long burrito. It has a very "Pawn Shop" feeling to it, completely with the middle aged baddling man in a jacket behind the wall. He waves, "Greeting Cazadores!" His accent is of indeterminable Eastern European origin. A neon pink sign overhead reads Obchodnik's Obstravaganza!

Woodsworth flies over, "This is our new friend Obchodnik. We had the idea that it would be much easier for someone to be on board to sell common items like food, clothing, and ammunition so that everyone wouldn't have to constantly beam down to the U.S. All of Obchodnik's stuff is pretty standard, so you'll have to warp to get more exotic or specific stuff, but he'll do in a pinch. Think of it as a general store."

@Mall Gannon: Approved, can spawn in the ship when you please.

@Erled Cursiter: Also approved.

Me too. Wish I'd noticed I wasn't listed sooner.

Damn, how'd I miss that? I'll put you in next turn. We'll have 13 players for a little bit, but that's on me.

Round 70: Gun Safety
Location: A Coruña, Spain
Weather Conditions: Sunny
Time: Afternoon

Dolosus drops the fake accent to reveal his real case to the fighters, "Okay, here's the truth now. I'm here because I'm looking for some very dangerous men. The reason I was acting really strange just now because I wanted to see what would happen." He smiles at them, and their collective reaction is deadpan. "Now, your offer is very kind. I'll join your cause with only one extra condition. If you happen to find out about anyone in the surrounding area who is oddly dressed, somewhat like myself, tell me. If you can do that, I'll join your cause. Do we have a deal?" The leader paces atop the rampart for a few moments, not looking directly at Dolosus. "I do not appreciate your deception; deception is a tool of espionage and infiltration. There is no need to hide your identity here. Still, your reason for having a facade makes partial sense." He stops moving and turns to look Dolosus straight in the eye, "If you promise to remain honest with us from now on, we will let you join our ranks." He barks into the courtyard of the manor, "Open the doors up, rapido!"
The large doors in front of Dolosus open up to reveal a courtyard full of people (not just men, women and children as well, entire families by the look of it) and animals moving about, hoisting bags and crates to and fro. A number of flags are held up along the walls of the courtyard in ways that they are not visible from outside the manor. An armed teenager approaches Dolosus, "Hello. My name is Fernando, Commander Comrade Rodriguez, who you were talking to before, has instructed me to accompany and assist you. He would like you to have this as a welcoming gift." He presents Dolosus with a Soviet Rifle. [+Mosin-Nagant M1891, +Ally: Youthful Republican Partisan]
[I apologize for causing you to effectively miss a turn. Hopefully gaining a rifle and an armed ally offsets any disadvantage you received.]

Wipeout heads the warnings of the Fascist soldiers, and after they head back to their own gunship and sail off, she turns her cargo ship around and goes to the port of A Coruna. She ties the boat to the dock around a section of other civilian vessels, then steps off herself and makes her way to the center of the city. She's given some strange looks due to her modern athletic apparel, but otherwise travels unmolested. In the center is something between a marketplace and a commercial district, with a mixture of both traditional stalls and industrialized stores, a testament to a city in the flux between an old and new society. This is also reflected on the goods being offered, with fresh food items, and handmade clothing and crafts in the stalls while the stores contain baked goods, mass produced shoes and farming equipment. Among the fairly sparse group of people in this area are a group of four armed men patrolling, in uniforms similar but not identical to the soldiers Wipeout had met on the high seas.

Execute gets set on dealing with the current situation, with new guests set to arrive. The first order of business is opening up a portal to the newly drawn Forest of Abundance. Execute creates a swirling green portal for the forest and sends in the civilian Aztecs to gather material. As they move through the portal with their new task, Execute personally puts himself in charge of the mansion's fortification, putting his engineering skills to the test.
[Fortification: 2+2(Engineering)] The good news is that this time the Aztecs don't break anything. The downside is that Execute was going for "inconspicuous and effective", and has to spend valuable time explain to the Aztecs that putting giant spikes at the front of the mansion doesn't exactly intimidate soldiers with tanks, nor does splattering the front of the mansion with "battle colors that make the house look like a ferocious beast", when in Execute's opinion it resembles more closely something like a hastily made student art project culminating in splashing bright colors on the building's exterior.
Execute orders a squadron of Aztecs to perform a special operation: They are to take the Police Gun World painting and open it up, far away from the mansion and let its contents out, into the surrounding area. [Strategic Placement: 4] The Aztecs disappear for a few minutes and return, panting as if they had just exerted a lot of energy. They tell Execute that they went over to the forested area nearby to open the painting, and fled when the gunfire began. In fact, if Execute listens carefully over the sounds of Aztec at work, he can hear the popping noise signature of semi-automatic firearms in the distance.
Finally he orders Yuri to prepare the soldiers to get into combat position while he looks for important sections of the mansion in the context of a battle. [Military Planning: 7+2] First of all, the pillars at the front of the mansion will make for good cover, though they will be the closest to enemies coming from that direction. The rooms themselves are quite open and not optimized for defense, though to get upstairs you have to go up spiral staircases, which are historically defensible positions and can create chokepoints that put attackers at a disadvantage. Finally there is the roof, which has a parapet wall that can be used as a cover. Barricading would certainly be a good idea, but there's little time, and additionally there seems to be little that could be done to defend against a barrage of tank and artillery fire.
Execute allows Fallacy to do as she wishes; "Alright then... let's get to it!" Fallacy stands before the Aztecs in the grand foyer/main entryroom of the mansion and announces that she is open to volunteers to try Devil Fruit, of which she holds an armful that she has gathered from the appropriate world. She notes that while they will give the eater superpowers, they would take away the ability to swim and eating more than one would be most definitely lethal. Most of the Aztec shy away from the offer, claiming that powers and responsibilities were associated with gods and curses, something they could do without, although a few brave and curious souls step up. This creates the following results:
1 turns into a cyborg.
1 crackles with electricity and gains feline features like cat ears and a tail.
1 feels compelled to be near animals and gets uncomfortably close to the neko-Aztec.
1 gains red eyes, fair skin and a pentagram appears on his bare chest. He claims to now be a demon.
Lastly, 1 feels drawn to the essence of freshwater.
Fallacy tests if her physical limitations have been altered as per the rules of the world she used as inspiration for the Devil Fruit Portrait and performs 20 pushups, which she is able to complete with a decent amount of effort.
By this point, the incoming soldiers have arrived on the front lawn, and Yuri yells out for battle positions, with spearmen stationed at the front of the house while archers take to the roof and all major areas of the mansion are filled with hundreds of soldiers at the ready. Yuri looks at what he is up against: At least one hundred soldiers armed with rifles and sub-machine guns, four jeeps and a single tank at the forefront, its barrel currently not aimed directly at the mansion. They stop advancing just outside of range, where a single official looking soldier with a hat steps out of a jeep, armed with a non-electric megaphone. He speaks into it, "This is Captain Jose, commander of the 14th Galician Company! We have come for requisition of this property as a military institution! Are you the owners of this property?" He puts down the megaphone to look at the mansion and all the Aztec inside of it. "No! You are definitely not! Who are you people? Anarchists?!" The Captain's question is cut off as the sound of a large amount of semi-automatic and automatic gunfire blasts in from the forest. "What the hell is that?"

Person and company begin a coordinated attack on Hawk, beginning with Person himself who attempts to steady his rifle with a broken arm and aim it at Hawk. [1-2(Broken Arm) vs. 8] Putting the rifle in shooting position puts Person in a lot of pain and he voluntarily drops the rifle, which goes off as it hits the ground [1] and discharges a single round which flies straight into the bottom of Person's chin and exits through the top of his skull. He drops backwards to the ground, instantaneously unconscious. [Saving/Constitution Roll (Successful if X>5): 5] The wound would be the last one Person would ever received.
The Macedonian Nationalist is re-aiming at Hawk when he hears Person fall to the ground. He turns around and drops his gun, putting his hands to his head and screaming, "NOOOOO!" He panics briefly before picking up his pistol and running in the opposite direction of Hawk. The Loyal Hunting Dog, waiting for orders from Person and runs over to its fallen master. The doggo barks a few times at what used to be Person and paws at the body. After a few moments, the barks turn to whimpers.
Person fell to an accidentally self-inflicted gunshot wound.

"Je mais vu-hell yes!" Greatness quickly agrees with her knight's plan of action to get out of Explosion-Ville ASAP, but not before she gets rid of witnesses. Greatness aims her Crossbow at the Sheep Herder, who has leapt over a fence and is now in a dead sprint down a tomato field. [2 vs. 10] Greatness fires her loaded bolt at the herder, who times a jump perfectly so that the bolt goes flying underneath him and lands in the dirt a few feet away, allowing him to continue at full speed until he's out of range; even Greatness would have to admit that was an aesthetically impressive maneuver. "M'lady, we must go!" Sir Lorne half-guides, half-yanks Greatness onto the back of his horse as they race down the road, a couple more mortar strikes hitting the area around the destroyed tank. Sir Lorne lets up as the sound of the explosions fades away and the Greatness finds herself before a sign that says "A Coruna", with a moderately sized city up ahead. Sir Lorne asks, "Shall we enter this city? I can't read the sign, your Spanish is much better than my own. Too bad we aren't in France..."
[This attack did not gain the 'Assassination' modifier since an Assassination is defined as a surprise attack in a non-combat context.]

Beirus looks down from his mighty Flying Fortress to see if anything of interest is going down on the ground below: So far he spots a pile of smoke coming from the road that signifies that something had just gone up in smoke. Further away he can see a city, and beyond it a great lighthouse that shoots upwards into the sky. Next to the city is a mansion, and in front of the mansion a large number of soldiers, something is obviously occurring over there.

Cinder stares thoughtlessly at some really interesting clouds when Mr. Lion gives her a nudge on the shoulder, allowing her to re-enter reality. "Huh? Oh yeah!" She starts up the car and pulls out of the alleyway, turning the corner and driving towards the visible outline of the beach. After all, when you're driving a stolen race car with a lion, what better way to spend the day than crab fishing? She arrives at the beach without incident, parking the car and letting Mr. Lion out so that he can stretch on the sand. As Cinder exits the car she realizes that she will have little success crab fishing without a crab cage (and preferably bait)! Where she could find one of those? It is at this time that she is approached by a muscular, mustachioed man in an extremely short and tight pair of swimming trunks. "Good lady! You look like you are in a tough jam! How could I, Senor Bajista, assist you?...Is that a Lion?" He points to Mr. Lion who is happily prancing in the shallows of the water.

Hawk gets so lucky that it might as well be a gift from God. Still, she's only going to be able to utilize that luck if she lives, so she calls upon the powers of St. Patrick's Staff to receive divine healing. [Divinity: 4+2] Miraculously, Hawk finds that the bullet hole in her chest has disappeared, though she is still leaking from the skull. She then hears the voice of God Himself: "I like you and all but I can't constantly be performing miracles just for you, I've got a really busy schedule. Why don't you go and find a doctor or someone to help you with your other bleeding, that way you have a connection for these type of things and you don't have to rely on me."

"Our first move will be to figure out what the exactly these soldiers are here for. Now  keep it down while I break opens this guys mind." Midnight informs her compatriot of her first course of action as she presses a finger to her temple and targets the nearest patrol of soldiers for a mind reading. [Mind Reading: 2] This soldiers are not weak of the mind, and Midnight can only make out very vague images, pictures of girls and faraway beaches, of soldiers in long marches but nothing specific at all. The Insurgent throws in his own comments, "They're Fascists right? Judging by the uniforms anyways. And the English hate Fascists. So that means we should side with them right? What's wrong with a little Fascism now and again?"

Failbird appears in the center of A Coruna, along with a German Soldier to accompany him.

Oh, damn. I'm honestly not sure what to say. I hope the worst of it's behind you at least.

I concur. Thoughts and prayers with you Projeck.

La-Vera - Originally part of Calhoun, La-Vera attained political independence 180 years ago and became a city-state. Its people, culture, and economy are not only independent from Calhoun, but larger and farther reaching. Located on the southern edge of Calhoun next to the ocean, La-Vera is renown for its constantly festive atmosphere, celebrations and a culture and language that is unique to the city. Every few years the city is wracked by great floods, though measures are now in place to sufficiently stymie the flooding as well as protocol for rebuilding. Socioeconomic differences by region are quite evident in La-Vera, though strife and crime tends to be contained within poorer communities. In the commercial district, there are several established tailors that produce fiery and provocative outfits and costumes that you will not find anywhere else.
"Fiery? Provocative? That describes my suit perfectly! Now, I just need a reference sketch—I'd never trust some loser to come up with a better design than mine, after all!"

Wario heads over to the library. If the robot dudes don't get in his way, he takes a laptop off of the shelf, using a paint program to make something like this. He then prints it out, assuming a printer exists within the room.

Wario goes into the library and is able to take a laptop, only netting a short stare from the Librarian U.I. before it turns its attention back to its own computer console. Wario opens up the computer and with his masterful SM Paint Skills, artistically articulates what the perfect Wario-Man costume would look like. After tapping the print icon, rather than coming out of a machine somewhere, digital artifacts a-la the matrix begin to manifest in front of Wario, quickly coagulating into a sheet of paper with his masterpiece drawing upon it.

"Thank you for the ammunition, I will be sure to return it as soon as I can locate more for my own usage."
Use the ammunition given by the UI to search for some that I can use myself.

Bastion thanks the U.I. and gratefully receives the ammunition. Upon further observation, each of the bullets is labeled: Standard .30 Caliber Rounds - West and Smithson, Ulookam Federation. As for the U.I., it just expressionlessly continues to stand next to Bastion, making no further movements or gestures.

I Exit and attempt to ask a passer by for directions to the Nearest magical institution.

Zingleborg searches for a way down the tower and finds a door in the ground which opens up to a spiraling staircase, very textbook tower design, cliche even. He spirals his way down to the ground level, which is filled with many shelves of books and scrolls. It's unorganized however, with no seeming pattern in the way the contents of the shelves are organized in regards to alphabetization, book size, or category. In fact the scrolls and books are intermixed, some lying on top of each other, more on the floor. A frail looking man, dressed like someone directly between the status of royalty and serfdom, turns to attention as Zingleborg asks for the nearest magical institution. "Magical institution? Yes, yes magic. Magic. M-magic. You'll um...find...that the...closest institution nearby that would suit your interests would be the University of Hardbark, which is through the hills in the direction that the sun rises. I believe the vernacular would be 'East'."

Samson nods and follows the man's directions. He firmly plants his wallet into his shirt pocket as he goes.

Samson takes the bureaucrat's (guard's?) directions to the Grand Bazaar. The crowd is composed of humans, camels and sheep as he would expect, but additionally the presence of tall figures that are too heavily covered up in veiled clothing to see, but are clearly not human as they stand at least eight feet tall. They appear at a rate of approximately one per every thirty humans in the crowd, and are given no special attention.
The Grand Bazaar is like a flea market overloaded to 11 on the amplifier scale. Rows and rows of brightly colored stalls farther than the eye can see, ranging from the minuscule to the size of a bodega. It is quite crowded and loud, with goods and commodities being exchanged at a pace that would make a Wall Street day-trader's head spin. Nothing here looked particularly high-tech, but the offerings range from clothing and jewelry to tools and basic electronics and more, the variety is staggering.

((You got a question ___?))
"Big beast you find me you many cash.""
Ulibossk uses simple words and gestures to avoid confusion. To reinforce his point, he takes out $100.

((You are correct, it's similar to a heavy Cajun accent.))

Ulibossk does his best to communicate with the Calhoun native, "Big beast you find me you many cash.""

"Yu tawkin lak sum sotta allen-byorn sun. Thens gens, yu problah iz consisserin yu come outtah that thar tele-room." His reaction to the money is positive and excited, "Now thazza way a speakin I comprend sun! Wuh sotta crittah yu lookin foh?"

<Excellent idea, thank you Woodsworth.>

Proceed to the V.R. simulator, if it asks for opponent settings, try to find the closest match to what would be a Yeerk-controlled squad of humans wielding Dracon weaponry.  Any location is fine.

"Your welcome! ^_^"

Nixil walks into the V.R. simulator room and settles into one of the machines, which he manages to adjust for his particular anatomy. Searching for a scenario closes to fighting Yeerk-controlled humans armed with Dracon weaponry, he finds a setting for just that.

Nixil finds himself transported to the top of a rocky incline, with dry rocky mountains surrounding him. The sky is clear and a sun is bearing down upon the stale landscape. Over an outcropping of red rock in front of him, about fifty meters down the slope is a stationary squad of humans wielding Dracon Rifle Beam, numbering at eight or so. They have not noticed the Andalite yet.

((TCM, you skipped my action. Just so you know.))

I did. I'll make sure to amend that later today.

Round 69: Back on Live Air
Location: A Coruña, Spain
Weather Conditions: Sunny
Time: Early Afternoon

"Fallacy, look on the bright side, now you can stop people from escaping, that's gotta be worth something, right?" Execute attempts to make his underling's situation sound more desirable than it is. She responds,  "Sure... but it doesn't come with supernatural running ability... though I wonder..."
The God is quick to interrupt her, "ANYWAY, Yuri, grab that policeman world painting and the Devil Fruit world painting, be careful not to rip them, I'll grab the painting box world painting, Fallacy, you and the Shaman should come with us, I'll be closing the portal to this world once we leave." Yuri complies and wraps up the Police-Gun World Painting, careful not to allow any of its contents to forcibly escape, and stuffs it under his arm along with the Devil Fruit World Painting. Fallacy picks up the leftover painting supplies in the area; (+Painting Supplies)"Kay then, let's go."
All of them exit from the Nuclear Silo World, (which is also wrapped up and carried away by Yuri) and making sure that the American Gunship has not spotted them, flee back into the hub world of Civil War Spain, one merely a portal route that has become the main forefront of the Wikipedia Wars competition thanks to magical shenanigans.
Execute, returning to his flock of Aztecs, rallies them all and explains the next course of action. They are to turn this mansion into a fortress with "barricades, spike traps," and the like, to repel invaders. He orders the most talented artists among them to take painting supplies and create works of art that would contain appropriate tools and structures relevant to the plan. [Fortification: 2] Efforts to fortify the mansion go poorly, as the Aztecs are unfamiliar with the architecture and materials used in the modern building. This culminates with attempted modifications to the ballroom ending with a partially collapsed roof, a broken chandelier and six incapacitated Aztecs.
Art: 5+1(Skilled Artists)] The handful of Aztecs with artistic experience begin creating their work on a large piece of canvas. They forsake brushes for the use of their hands to make broad strokes of color and shapes. Their finalized vision is a forest of plentiful raw materials, such as hardy trees for lumber and great mounds of volcanic rock to turn into obsidian. They name this painting "The Forest of Abundance". [Art: 8+1] Satisfied with this painting, Execute commissions one for medicinal purposes, but instead of drawing potions and herbs as he might expect, the artists produce the drawing of a humanoid-bird figure in royal Aztec garb, standing upon the top of a mountain. They refer to this being as "Tukeolli: The Jade Turkey" and proclaim him as the God of Disease and Injury. The artists claim that if Amihiyotzinuatmotlapal could make some sort of arrangement with Tukeolli, they would be spared from Disease and Injury, thus making medicine irrelevant.
All of the other paintings are hung on empty spaces in the Art Room, except for the Police Gun World painting. When the Aztecs tried to unfurl that painting, numerous guns sprung out of it and begin firing in all directions, leading to it being rolled back up and untouched further.
A group of Aztecs run to their leader clamoring with distressing excitement: strange metal beasts and strange looking men have been spotted on the horizon, heading straight for the mansion!

Greatness continues with her interrogation, while simultaneously bringing up her Crossbow to be used as needed. Just as she begins to ask further question and make demands, a great force accompanied by a loud metallic sound knocks her off balances and causes her to drop her weapon, while Sir Lorne falls from his horse. The peasant cries out, "Mierda, mortars!" His flock begins to chaotically disperse with bleeting sheep nervously moving in every direction as the herder leaps over a nearby fence and commences sprinting down a field. Greatness recovers her Crossbow and stance and observes the scope of damage: Sir Lorne and herself are untouched, but Hazard's tank has been obliterated, little more than a pile of burning scrap metal and ash. Sir Lorne speaks up, nervousness apparent in his otherwise firm voice, "M'lady! Shall we leave before there are more explosions?"
H4zardZ1 was neutralized in a mortar strike.

"Umm...the fascists?" Wipeout acts coyly in response to the questioning of the Officer. He sizes her up for a moment, hands on his hips, "Why yes, the Fascists. No listen woman, you are to turn around immediately and stay within protected waters. It would be best for you to dock your ship and head home, you wouldn't want to be the victim of a Communist torpedo strike, would you?"

Person gets out of the wrecked Flying Car, shoving the door open with his good arm, and chases after Hawk along with the Macedonian Nationalist and the Hunting Dog. [Agility: 8 vs. 2/5/2] Hawk hauls ass rather impressively in her robes and sandals, garments not made with athletic functionality in mind. Person and the Dog, still shaken by the effects of the crash, lose line-of-sight with Hawk, though the fervent Macedonian is able to keep a steady pace behind her. As the priestess runs away from the squad, the Macedonian takes his one opportunity to fire at her. [6-1(Longer Ranged Shot) vs. 1] A single bullet catches Hawk in the left side of the skull, though it is not a true headshot, though it does open up a significant wound. Person lets out a cry and falls over onto her face as the Macedonian continues to shoot at her, trying to finish her off. Under fire, she grabs her staff and turns around while her attacker is busy reloading his pistol.

Before he can fire at her, Hawk raises her Scepter of Smiting and fires a divine bolt at the Macedonian. [7 vs. 10] The revolutionary dives to the side as a quick pulse of holy power slams into the side of the church with the force of a lightning bolt, blasting chunks of bricks out from its foundation. [9 vs. 3] The Macedonian lunges his gun hand at her and fires twice, striking Hawk once in the chest. The prophet coughs up some blood and realizes that it is time to find some solid cover. [1] Spotting a section of trees nearby, Hawk races for natural protection but is betrayed by nature when she trips over a root, causing her to fall over. She recovers quickly but discovers that she's dropped her Smiting Scepter into a bush and lost sight of it. Meanwhile, Person and the Hunting Dog rejoin the Macedonian in the fight.

NAV wheels the wounded soldier over to the beach before stopping the cart and deciding that he could use a nice break from all the fighting. He sheds his human flesh and turns into a Soucouyant, which flies out into the ocean to enjoy some nice waves. As he is peacefully floating above the tranquil waters, when he is suddenly gripped in the pincers of a Giant Spanish Crab, one of the Soucouyant's natural predators, and quickly devoured. Damn, if only he would have remembered.
NAV fell victim to the food chain.

Beirus flies in on his B-17 Flying Fortress, an iconic bomber of WWII, in the search of victory, and coal. He hovers over the Spanish countryside menacingly. He does spot a plume of smoke coming from one of the roads.

MidnightJaguar appears inconspicuously in the Spanish town, already sensing the presence of those freed from their mortal coil who still lingers. Her companion, a nationalist for an ethnic group of Indians, appears fairly nervous, perhaps due to the fact that there are soldiers patrolling the street, and he has an assault rifle stowed away in an innocent-looking suitcase. "What's our first move boss?"

Since this took longer than expected to come out, I plan for the next turn to appear Wednesday Night.

I've added a small feature for bleeding, where a number is affixed to any blood-loss conditions indicating how long the effect has been going on for.

You are no failure and I still have high hopes for what has been, so far, an exemplary ISG.

I wish you the best of luck in whatever negative circumstances have resulted in your laptop being taken.
